The property was excellent. Right beside the activities centre. Love the wake up call for the appearance of the northern lights.

Enjoyed our stay in this authentic home. The host was very welcoming. He prepared a traditional homemade soup with bread for dinner which was perfect after a long day of flying and driving from KEF. The traditional breakfast was also plentiful and very good. High recommend.

The cabin‘s position is very secluded, and lies in the countryside in the Borgarnes region. It is well equipped and there are lots of things to see and to do in the area around; it is also a perfect stop after arrival and before traveling north or westwards. The private hot tub is a huge plus, it is easy to handle and comes with a perfect views of the night sky - and northern lights if it’s the right time of year! Due to extreme cold one water pipe froze during my stay - and the hosts directly reacted and solved the issue - wonderful friendly service, thanks again!

Fosshotel Reykholt is only a few minutes’ drive from the hot springs of Deildartunguhver and the Hraunfossar and Barnafoss waterfalls. It offers free parking and WiFi.

A wonderful place to stay and a brilliantly executed conversion. This was our most memorable accommodation in Iceland. The top floor living room / kitchen has amazing 360 degree views. Warm and clean, with comfortable beds. There are a lot of stairs to go up and down but it is well worth the effort.
