We recently stayed at INNI Boutique Apartments, specifically in apartment no. 2, and the experience exceeded our expectations in every way. The apartment is incredibly spacious, with 60-65 sqm comfortably accommodating up to four adults. It’s immaculately clean and beautifully designed with modern furnishings, making it feel luxurious yet cozy. The kitchen is a real highlight, fully equipped with everything you need to cook as if you were at home. From the stovetop and oven to the Nespresso coffee machine and toaster, every detail has been thought of. They even provide cooking staples like oil, basic spices, and vinegar, which made meal preparation so convenient. The bedrooms are versatile, allowing for either a double bed or single beds depending on your preference. This flexibility, combined with the overall comfort of the apartment, ensured a restful stay. One of the standout features of INNI Boutique Apartments is the outdoor spa area. Access to a hot tub, steam bath, and shower offers the perfect way to relax after a day of exploring. The thoughtful provision of bathrobes and slippers added to the indulgent experience. Overall, our stay at INNI Boutique Apartments was exceptional. Great place in south of Iceland.

Great place in south of Iceland. The town of "flowers" is a good name for this place, as it is the warmest place in Iceland, where they grow flowers and enjoy life. It has the best swimming pool of the whole country, with an amazing "steam room" that is heated with steam straight from the vulcanic core of our planet.

The small town is founded around the hot springs - there was a geothermal park in the centre where you can boil an egg in the hot spring and eat delicious rye bread cooked in geothermal steam. We also hiked up to the geothermal river to bathe in the warm water surrounded by snow!

Hveragerdi is like the story of Goldilocks - not too far...

Hveragerdi is like the story of Goldilocks - not too far away from the major cities and airport in KEF / Reykjavik. Not too remote nor too busy. Plenty of dining options and bars and yet not crowded. Not too quiet nor too bright with city lights. Almost the perfect spot if you want to explore anything in Thingvellir National Park. And, close enough to some easily accessible spots if you are hunting for the elusive Northern Lights. Reasons to stay at Hveragerdi: 1) You just landed in Iceland and don't want to drive too far fighting jet lag. (2) You want to have a base for exploring Thingvellir / Golden Circle (3) You want to step away from the busy Reykjavik and also have options for restaurants, bars and bakeries (4) You want to stay at a spot not too far from KEF airport to catch a flight the next day Reasons not to stay at Hvergerdi: (1) Your main points of interest are farther south and southeast Iceland (Vik / Jokulsarlon / Hofn) or farther west and north Iceland (Snaefellsness / Western fjords / Akureyri)

A great base to explore South West Iceland, the Golden Circle, and other sights. The little town is easily walkable. We ate at Matkráin which was recommended in the information pack at our accommodation and were not disappointed by the Danish smørrebrød. We also tried The Greenhouse which had a really good atmosphere and is set up as a food hall.

Fantastic little hamlet with a dash of everything Iceland has to offer including hot springs, geysers, nature trails, waterfalls, swimming pools, warm lagoons, etc. The geothermal park was an unique and amazing experience. We had an amazing time!

The location is good at the beginning of South Iceland.

The location is good at the beginning of South Iceland. Everything we wanted to see was within 1h 40min drive. Still the small town has a big shop and the basic services that smaller places further out don't have (except Selfoss)

A very smart hotel with comfortable rooms and beds. Good facilities, including swimming pool, table tennis and pool table. Breakfast was included in our room rate and was good. We had an evening meal in the hotel restaurant which was superb but expensive (by UK standards). The hotel is opposite an indoor food market with restaurant and shop. Nearby is a small shopping centre with supermarket, pharmacy and bakery. Easy drive to Selfoss and the Golden Circle.

In a unique and stunning location, which you can enjoy best from the geothermal hot tubs! The room was spacious, modern and clean with great views. Staff were friendly and helpful and the location is ideal for exploring the surrounding area (Golden Circle) by car. The geothermal menu (food cooked in the hotel’s own hot spring) at the Varma restaurant overlooking the river was honestly the best food we’ve ever had!

The staff and hotel were both fantastic. The building from the outside is plain and functional -- like many in Iceland -- but the hotel interior is very nice. Free (very good) coffee, tea, milk on hand in lobby 24/7. Breakfast very nice. Mid-way between Reykjavik and Fludir. Can't beat the price. 3 km from Hverargerdi and its park with amazing thermal river.

Rooms very comfortable and spacious, well designed with comfy beds. Right in the heart of Hveragerði - groceries, fuel and a few restaurants on the doorstep- highly recommmend Olverks! Lovely shop in the hotel selling some local goods. Staff very friendly and helpful

Although a bit small nothing to complain as it was enough. The bathroom is small but is enough. Common microwave can be used in the hall. Parking was easy and right in front of the hotel. It was a good stop for the roadtrip after the Golden Circle.
