The hotel itself is super cool, all the details are so thinked and executed. The rooms are big and clean, the bathroom is modern and comfortable, the lobby is breathtaking. We got free breakfast and welcome drink, because the wellness area was under construction - it was a pleasant surprise for us. The breakfast was super good, however there was a big crowd from 9 to 9:45 almost, while the breakfast is until 10.

The location was amazing! Very remote and away from light pollution, so seeing the Northern Lights is a possibility. It’s right on the water against gorgeous mountains. My room was warm and the bed was so comfortable. Extremely clean. And for two nights, it was super cheap. I stayed here when I booked a glacier hike since the pickup spot was 15 minutes away (right next to Diamond Beach and Jokulsarlon lagoon). Staff was super friendly, and you get free coffee and tea whenever you want.

Great location, friendly staff, complimentary items (juice, yogurt, tea, coffee). The kitchen was great and it was nice to have a fully functioning kitchen. The host was very friendly and even made recommendations on places to visit while staying there.
