Very nice hotel with excellent staff (Sebastian). The room was large and comfortable, quiet and dark at night. Breakfast was also very good.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The accommodation was spacious, well-equipped, and very quiet — perfect for unwinding. The kitchen was great and had everything we needed to cook simple meals. The sofa was large and super cozy, ideal for relaxing and watching something in the evening. The heated floors in the bathroom were a lovely touch, especially on colder days. We also really appreciated the free washer and dryer. The bed was very comfortable and made for a restful night. Easily one of the top two places we’ve stayed during our trip to Iceland. Highly recommended! One small suggestion for improvement: adding a dishwasher and an exhaust fan in the kitchen would make the space even more convenient.

This is one of the best places we have ever been. Very clean, absolutely quiet, hearty and tasty breakfast, excellent service by Abba, opportunity to observe farm animals (horses, sheep, dogs, chicken, roosters) directly from the room. Nice people to talk to over the breakfast. Abba is knowledgeable about her country and is pleased to talk about it. Good location near the lake of Mývatn, but avoiding the crowds, sulphur smell and midges which may make one´s stay at accommodation places located directly on the lake unpleasant. Do not miss Abba and her animals.

A perfect cottage conveniently located between Godafoss and Lake Myvatn. Fully-equipped kitchen, a private hot tub and a cozy living room with a large window facing north and the Northern Lights! We absolutely loved this accomodation and we look forward to returning soon.

Room was amazing (really big and comfortable with super cozy bed), the view great and the breakfast exceptional. The owner was super friendly and we had a great time in the hot water outside.

Quaint little apartment. The location was amazing for being able to travel around to many attractions and for even seeing the northern lights! The facilities were amazing we had all the cutlery we needed, toiletries, toilet roll, towels, bedding and even a washing machine and dryer. Helga was amazing she gave us advice on what's in the area and was always so friendly and happy to help with anything.
