We liked everything- quiet location (somewhere in the middle of nowhere, surrounded only by nature), hot tube, clean room, view through window, breakfast. There would be nice to stay for more that one night.

Impressive views of Troll Waterfalls and an extensive vinyl collection of over 3000 records are notable features of Fossatún Country Hotel.

Supernice set up: replica of an elf village with different amenities and a breathing view from the restaurant overlooking the waterfall beneath. Superelaxing hot tubs available on site. Very friendly staff and clean room. The breakfast was also rich and varied. Strongly recommended!!

The location of property was amazing - near river and with great mountain view. Cabin was clean and fresh, equipped with heaters. Our favourite spot were hot tubs. Breakfast is worth the money.

Very nice hotel, big rooms, comfortable beds and very clean in general. We had dinner at the hotel and the food was really good, and the staff was very friendly as well. Location is convenient if you are doing the ring road.

A short message was left by owner as we arrived in the dark. Wow, the jacuzzi was already heated up, we enjoyed that during a freezing cold night. The kitchen can be used for own prep of meals.
