Such a lovely place. Nice and cozy rooms. Beautiful surrounding. Very welcoming host. Close to the ring road. They have a common kitchen -dining area for the guests where you can warm your food , get warm water and have food and tea/coffee.

I chose this spot as I was in the area and needed somewhere to stay for the night, it was quite well-priced for the inclusions. Breakfast has a lot of choices and tasted good. The block out curtains were really good and managed to block out all of the midnight sun which was very appreciated.

Beautiful setup in cottage style. We had a junior suite for us and a deluxe room for the kids. Both were great. Particularly junior suite was very spacious with a beautiful bath with open shower. The atmosphere around is utterly beautiful. Private hot tubs right outside.

The ION is a special spot, with a gorgeous view from the Northern Lights bar, where you can sit and unwind after a day of adventure. The restaurant on site is exceptional, serving an amazing breakfast buffet, lunch, and a superb dinner. The selections are excellent, and the food was artistically plated. The room felt spacious, the bed was comfortable, and we had a fabulous sleep. All in all, we would highly recommend the IOn, from its helpful and friendly staff to its gorgeous location.

Lovely hotel and the location is amazing. We loved the spa pool under the hotel and the Northern Lights bar. We were lucky to get the wakeup call for the Northern Lights and drove our hire car a little into the national park to get some photos. Overall a great stay!

The views on the way to the hotel are already breathtaking. You arrive at this hotel with amazing architecture and very friendly staff. Food at the restaurant is great. And you may be able to see the northern lights without having to leave your room.

A truly relaxing location and hotel - made to feel very welcome. Breakfast was excellent with smoked salmon, cheeses, fruit and fresh breads. Great location for the Northern lights. Cannot comment on evening menu.
