Really lovely hotel close to Selfoss. Impeccably clean, spacious room and helpful staff. Breakfast was good and the waffles were a hit with the kids! We also got to pet the horses at the nearby stables.

Place was really clean and nicely set up. When we arrived staff upgraded our room free of charge. Even let us park the car right next to the enterance since we had to set it up for longer trip. Hot tubs were really nice touch and these were free of charge. Overall hotel was very clean and staff was very polite

An exceptional hotel, furnished in Scandinavian style, with large windows and spectacular views. The lava pool was a delight. The breakfast was gourmet, including smoked solmon, cheeses, eggs and an amazing espresso coffee. The hotel, with its facilities and amenities, the staff, the food, everything should qualify it as 5 stars. I totally recommend the experience.

fantastic location with amazing views of snowy mountains that could be enjoyed while Kyiv in bed thanks to the massive bedroom window. The thermal pool is fantastic and is open until 11pm so we really enjoyed sitting out looking at the stars. We ate lunch in the restaurant which was simple and delicious. a really special place to stay and we will be back!

Very authentic place. Remote - exactly what we were looking for in Iceland. Our experience was perfect. Welcome drink, room upgrade, beautiful room with a nice view. Natural hot pool, excellent dinner. Branded slippers - TOP. We were using it during our whole trip. All in all one of the best hotel experiences we've had so far.

We can see that there is now a new glass restaurant which should have good views towards the far lake. Not yet open when we stayed. The food in the current restaurant was excellent, inspiring menu, could have more choices but talented chef is preparing the food.
