I enjoyed living in a home designed by an award winning architect. Beautifully appointed with everything to expect in a luxury home. A short drive to glacier hikes and puffin tour. It was a splurge but worth it.

Set next to Hof turf church, this hotel offers an on-site restaurant and free WiFi. Skaftafell National Park is 15 minutes' drive away from the hotel. Cape of Ingolfshöfdi is 3 km away.

very nice decor, the rooms were nice and came with bathrobe’s and slippers for spa/sauna area. they have a option to wake you if the aurora are visible which was awesome. dinner was amazing and breakfast just expensive.

The Potato Storage was a fantastic stay. The family apartment was quite large with a big bathroom and fully equipped kitchen. It is newly renovated and very nicely appointed (the pictures are very accurate). We had a view across the fields and could see the glacier as well. We used the kitchen both nights and it was perfect (full size oven, induction burner, large fridge). I found everything we needed - including a French press. Check in was easy, Klaus met us on site and showed us how to use the locks etc. beds were very comfortable, including the sofa bed. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a stay near the Skaftafell glacier.

The cottage was cosy yet spacious enough for 3 adults. It was clean and tidy, and well fitted with kitchen utensils. It felt very comfortable to stay here, like a home away from home.
