Was not sure about this place as it is unassuming on the outside. The room was cozy with comfortable beds. The shower had super hot water, which I love. Dinner prices were high, but the dinner was fantastic. Take the time to go on the short hike behind the hotel to the glacier.

I enjoyed living in a home designed by an award winning architect. Beautifully appointed with everything to expect in a luxury home. A short drive to glacier hikes and puffin tour. It was a splurge but worth it.

Set next to Hof turf church, this hotel offers an on-site restaurant and free WiFi. Skaftafell National Park is 15 minutes' drive away from the hotel. Cape of Ingolfshöfdi is 3 km away.

Great beds, very quiet, updated bathrooms, very effective heat in winter. Will definitely book again if I travel back to iceland.

No kettle in the room, but can ask for one. Love the hot tub during sunset. Room is clean and comfortable. Location is good since we need to drive early for ice cave tour.

The Potato Storage is located in a very quiet and tranquil and it is a new and has all the comforts one would wish. It is conveniently located to visit the glaciers as well as the glacier lagoons. We stayed in the apartment with Mountain View which was very spacious and the kitchen was fully stocked and also had a dishwasher which was a very nice added touch. There was great attention to detail! The owners are extremely helpful and approachable at all times! The views from the apartment are breathtaking!

The location is perfect and ideally located close to the glacier, easy access and yet secluded. Clean, functionable and well thought out layout. Owner is very responsive. We enjoyed the use of the terrace and the large windows to watch sunset and spot the northern lights from. Would definitely stay here again.
