We had a wonderful stay here. Cosy and comfortable, welcoming hosts and adorable goats! The peaceful location was perfect for us as we wanted to stop between Reykjavik and Vik. Lovely local waterfall.

Staying at Askot Cottage for our first two days in Iceland was probably one of the best decisions we made during this trip. It made the first impression of this majestic country even better. The attention to detail in these cottages is unparalleled. The kitchen is immaculately equipped with everything you need to cook, eat, and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee. Second, the bed and linen were unreal. We felt like we were sleeping on clouds. Clean, cozy, comfortable, spacious... just unique. When we woke up the following day, we enjoyed a slow and calm breakfast while watching beautiful horses through the giant window. The bathroom was also well equipped with everything you need - soap, shampoo, shower gel, enough toiletries, and towels. Everything was so warm, cozy, and compact - I honestly can't recall when was the last time we were taken care of so well. The check-in and check-out process was simple and smooth. We picked up and left our keys in a small lock box next to the door. Greta was also kind and notified us about leaving a cable when we left, so we returned and retrieved it without any issue. They also provided us with a Bluetooth speaker. We used to listen to Icelandic folk music—it was like a fairytale! The only downside was that we couldn't stay here longer. It was also a great location to visit nearby attractions, such as Kerid Crater, Bruarfoss, Faxafoss, Urridafoss, the cute town of Selfoss, and more. It's a fantastic place. Greta and Steiner did an excellent job. As experienced travelers, we cannot recommend this place enough. I'm looking forward to staying here again sometime. Best of luck!

The stay was quite pleasant. The facilities and kitchen were very clean and the amenities, including the barn were great and cozy. We loved the heated mattress and overall vibe of the tent! The hostess was nice and helpful as well. Would recommend!

Amazing accomodation. Very lovely location. The place was very spacious even for 5 people, very clean and comfortable, and had anything you need. The hot tub was simply amazing to use and relax in after a long day on the road. The perfect way to end a day!

We had a wonderful stay at this unique dome house. The place is quiet, peaceful, and beautifully surrounded by nature, with adorable horses nearby that made the atmosphere even more special. The host was very welcoming, and everything was clean and well-prepared for our arrival. The dome itself was cozy and relaxing, and at night we could enjoy the sky and even a few stars through the clear panels (no aurora during this season, but it must be magical when it appears!). Inside, the accommodation was thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed: a microwave, Nespresso machine, small refrigerator, sink, plates, cutlery, and more. It was the perfect combination of comfort and nature, and we left feeling refreshed and relaxed. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in Iceland.

We enjoyed our stay at this Guesthouse which is very lovely and 1hr from Reykjavík and also is kind of close to most of the attractions. Also the staff is lovely which for my surprise were from my country (Romania) . Breakfast and Dinner are very good . Definitely will come back for a summer period !
