Excellent choice considering location - host was polite, rooms very clean (to be honest, one of the cleanest places I have been), well equipped kithecn and spacious bedroom for 4 people. Breakfast was simple, but fulfilling. Would defenitely recommend to spend your night or two there while heading to East Iceland.

Stafafell Nature Camp was what I expected.

Stafafell Nature Camp was what I expected. My only suggestion would be for them to trip the shrubs on the trails to the tents as they scrape against your bare legs. Having a clear clear to to your tent would be nice.

Beautiful area, but avoid staying at Stafafell Nature Park...

Beautiful area, but avoid staying at Stafafell Nature Park Camping. The price is ten times what you'd normally pay for a basic campsite—a complete rip-off. The website description is misleading. Far too high a price for inadequate sanitary and kitchen facilities. Wi-Fi is only available in the owner's house, not at the campsite.

Stunning and secluded location away from the bustle of city life. Tents were clean and good size, plus dark enough during midnight sun season. The family who owns it was so personable and hospitable. Bathroom was immaculate by camping standards - flushing toilet and running water! Free coffee, tea in the stocked kitchen. Definitely would recommend for a rustic but comfy experience in peace.

As a person who never went camping, this was a fun experience to dip my toes in it. On site restroom was decent but old and had nothing inside you could use to dry yourself, but it did have toilet paper. They had a shower in the main office but I didn't use it. The tent itself was very comfortable, very dark on the inside.

Location location location and the owner and his staff guy; I think he was Polish, were fantastic with any local questions or information about Iceland. The travelers we met there and cooked with were very interesting folks. A great place to camp and meet others.

Great location and beautiful camping spots. The view in the morning was magnificent. The tent and the beds were adequate and clean. Personnel was very friendly. Very good stop-over location when going to the east of Iceland.
