A vry nice farmhouse hotel in beautiful natural surroundings...
A vry nice farmhouse hotel in beautiful natural surroundings with a great sea view. Excellent resturant, very reasonable priced. Ideal for nature lovers and bird watchers. Family friendly. A place with a very interesting history. Ask about the "Bjarni frá Vogi" cigars.

This hotel is a true oasis in nature, offering breathtaking scenery and tranquility. The staff was incredible—warm, attentive, and always ready to help. They made our stay truly special. The on-site restaurant served outstanding meals. I highly recommend this hotel for a perfect blend of natural beauty, excellent service, and exceptional dining.

Very cosy, very contemporary and well decorated
Area magnificent and very remote (which is what we were looking for)
Easy hiking path just behind the hotel up a small mountain with a waterfall and breathtaking view over the fjord
Restaurant offered fair price and dishes were very tasty

We've stayed at Vogur previously and loved the isolation. We were kindly given an even better room than previous making it an exceptional stay. Dining room is good and an opportunity to meet other travellers and compare experiences in this wonderful country
