Picturesque location with medieval fortress, where we were...

Picturesque location with medieval fortress, where we were attending a wedding & stayed for 2 nights at the most beautiful apartment at Casa del Gelsomino. We had a lovely meal at Paesanna in the little town. If you have car you can reach the beach at San Benedetto del Tronto in less than 20mins.

Is not located on the beach - but in the 2nd row behind...

Is not located on the beach - but in the 2nd row behind large houses. The pictures are misleading. The food was terrible. The room was cold and impersonal - like an undertaker's. Terrible noise from a loud screaming man who "entertained" from 8-11 pm, and I had to get up and leave early.

A beautiful medieval village, it's magical to stroll through its narrow streets. We were also lucky enough to experience a village festival with live music, stalls, and the chance to try archery.

Acquaviva Picena is perfect for those seeking peace and quiet or wanting to discover the real Italy. The surrounding area boasts stunning scenery, and the locals are very friendly. Although we speak a little Italian, you can easily communicate in English.

The village is pretty and worth a visit, but it's a bit too...

The village is pretty and worth a visit, but it's a bit too far from the sea. Having to travel every day, the mountain roads weren't very comfortable, and next time I'd definitely choose a hotel closer to the Marche coast.

A historic town, with impeccably clean squares and alleyways, and well-maintained historic buildings. It sits on a hilltop with a view that stretches from the Apennines to the Adriatic Sea. It's easily accessible by car, with well-maintained, new roads.
