Fantastic location as we came by train; literally just across the road from the station. Staff were friendly and very efficient. Our room was perfect; clean, inviting and comfortable. This is a delightful hotel with the most amazing and helpful staff. The whole building has been tastefully renovated and rooms are lovely. The property is just off a main route out of Florence, which makes it easy to get to Florence, Pisa, Chianti region and the rest of Tuscany - as long as you have transport. Breakfasts were very good with inside and outside seating. Nice pool with plenty of sunbeds and gazebos. They have a little spa facility and they bring in an outstanding masseuse if you book. I like a good massage and we live in Thailand, yet this is one of the best massages we have ever experienced - I had hot stone and my wife had office syndrome and acupressure. You are a 10-20 minute journey from the main trainline (depending on the station you want to go from) and this runs Florence-Pisa and beyond (train system is excellent too). Incredible restaurant just across the road, so don't be put off by not having a restaurant on-site. There is a bar service in the hotel so you can have drinks - alcoholic, non-alcoholic, coffee, etc. I think that is a 24 hour service?

The staff is exremely friendly and helpful. The room is big enough with the very comfy bed (we also had the huge terrace though we didn't really use it). The breakfast was also good. There is the green area next to the hotel (on the back side) where we could walk with our dog (it's the wet grass land). The parking is shared with Penny Market and is not guarded but that was OK with us. The hotel is located about 19km from the historic heart of Florence but if you go by car it could take about 50 minutes. The hotel provided us with the detailed train timetable to Florence though we didn't really use this kind of transport.
