Beautiful location in historic centre of Arrone beside church and tower. The house has been beatifully and sympathetically restored and is stunning. Elga was a really kind and lovely host. I had the Pilgim's meal which had an amazing assortment of antipasti from meats, cheese fondue with honey, homemade pumpkin dip to die , olives and some other specialties. This was then followed with gorgeous squid pasta and wine. One of my tastiest meals. It was my ninth stay since arriving in Rome and doing the Via Francesco to Assisi and was my favourite to date. Highly recommend.

Stunning apartments right in the old town. It felt like we were in a medieval movie set. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, and the apartment was huge and well equipped. The restaurant on site, Osteria dello sportello, has to be amongst the best in Italy. Breakfast also was simple but very good.

Arrone is such a peaceful little gem tucked into the Umbrian hills. It’s quiet, authentic, and full of charm — the kind of place that makes you slow down without even realizing it. The views from the top of the village are beautiful, especially in the evening, and you can walk everywhere since it’s quite small. I loved wandering through the stone streets and chatting with locals — everyone was kind and welcoming. Definitely try the local olive oil; it’s honestly some of the best I’ve ever had. Perfect for a calm weekend away or a stop if you’re exploring southern Umbria.

The incredible atmosphere of a medieval town, the awareness that hundreds of years ago people lived within these same walls. Wonderful views and a fantastic restaurant serving delicious dishes. I recommend the truffle tartare, the rack of lamb, and the beef steak.

A very pretty village, very green, with clean air and a pleasant temperature, considering it is located about 300 m above sea level. It offers many attractions, including a visit to one of the convents of San Francesco and a visit to the Marmore waterfall.

We asked a local for advice on where to have lunch; he spent 10 minutes on the phone trying to find suggestions and finally booked a restaurant for us! This is a fantastic place! It is a small mountain village where it seemed like most of the houses were occupied by locals meaning there were very few tourists. The view from the mountain is awesome, the pool is great (10 min walk from the hotel) and the breakfast is nice. The apartment was very clean and newly renovated. Giuseppe runs this place and he takes care of everything in the best possible way - it was such a pleasure staying there!

Such an amazing find! We had a wedding to attend in the area and are so glad we found this gem in Arrone! Really cute apartment with cooking and washing facilities and the most amazing balcony with a beautiful view of the village and surrounding area. So nice to have our breakfast out on the terrace!! Rita was extremely helpful with recommendations and advice and we wished we could have stayed for longer!

I was walking so found the hotel a little away from the major hub of the area, and the walk was along a busy road. I arrived early and the rooms were not ready but this was not a problem and I was allowed leave my gear in the room and use the lovely pool. The cleaning staff were really lovely, as. was the receptionist. Breakfast was good and was available from 7.30am

We loved staying at Casa Argenti. It is beautifully restored set of buildings in the castle of Arrone. The rooms are well styled and comfortable. The owner, Elga, is a delight and very helpful.
