The host is a great communicator. Despite us being late, nothing was too much bother and we were given a detailed briefing on how everything in the apartment works. The apartment was very clean throughout and all towels and bedding were ultra-clean and fresh. The apartment is very well equipped throughout and appliances are modern. Balcony is big and a nice place to eat out or sit with a drin in the evening. We used the apartment for a week in mid-June as our central base for exploring the upper Aosta valley using the car: It worked very well. Plenty of parking out front. Wifi was a little slow at times but otherwise was effective. A very comfortable apartment. We liked it a lot.

From here you can easily reach nearby mountain towns for skiing, hiking, and mountain biking—or just set off on the local roads straight from the resort to explore the Alps by bike. Finally, the resort’s interior design is classic and tasteful, adorned with numerous frescoes—a refreshing contrast to the sterile “white-wall” style that often feels lifeless.

We stayed in this hotel twice during our holiday, first two nights and last three, and liked it. The young staff are very friendly and willing to help, at checkout after first stay we asked to have same room for the second stay and they arranged things to accommodate our request. The hotel gives the impression that it could be much more. There is a lot of space, large and clean rooms with simple wooden furniture, two communal areas plus the breakfast room (no restaurant at the moment), a terrace with nice views, and close to the Dora Baltea river so pleasant sound of water flowing. The town of Villeneuve is quiet and ideally located at only ~15 mins drive from Aosta and ~30 mins from Courmayeur / Monte Bianco. We would be happy to stay there again.

Staying at Leverogne (say, Hôtel Col du Mont) you get a good base point to take buses and visit other villages around. We were told that the winter is quite cold, but the weather during our stay was mild and sunny. Everything was quiet, and one is surrounded by nature, mountains, and some ruins.

A beautiful property, very comfortable and spotlessly clean,the work to create theese apartments have been carried out to the highest degree.Although I drove to Arvier ,no parking at property but there is a free parking place just 2mins away, I actually used the bus to go into Aosta ,a 4 min walk from the property to the bus stop. I can highly recommend this property.

A lovely old style hotel with so much fascinating history that has been in the same family for generations. And such friendly owners. We loved it. There are fewer and fewer of these gems. It’s also in a beautiful mountain village set on a stunning gorge.
