Great hotel, friendly staff. Delicious breakfast, clean room, room cleaning every day. All the staff are friendly and helped us get our suitcases back when we lost our suitcases at the airport. The location is excellent for those who love the beach and the warm sea nearby, there is also a swimming pool with sun loungers and music playing, you can have a great time. The city center can be reached on foot if you don’t have a car, and the hotel can also help with transfers to the center and the airport, this is convenient. We hope to return again.

Where to begin.. Luca. This is a family owned farm-like accommodation. Luca, one of the siblings, was amazing. Speaking good english helped a lot as we do not speak italian. Ever so helpful, polite and kind, and might I say, easy on the eye, made our stay super cozy. The place has exceptional views with mountains and fields. There is a swimming pool available with sunbathing area. If you rent a car, this is a perfect spot to stay since it is quite easy to travel around to Trapani or Palermo. Also the close by town has a few nice restaurants for having dinner. The room itself was with a small french balcony and had everything we needed including a fridge, shower, tv, a really comfortable bed with extra pillows. Traveling by rental car? This is a place to stay for sure!

The breakfast was spectacular. We liked a lot of how the house was preserved, big room in an old way with all the commodities. The attention from Guissepe was unbeatable, allways taking care if we were comfortable, allowed us easy check-in and parking, we aprreciated a lot his attention.

The rooms were beautifully decorated, the beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen was well-equipped. Everything was clean and the hosts were accommodating and helpful. It was in a great location, just a short walk to the beach.

Amazing little place.

Amazing little place. Locals lovely and beach is beautiful 🤩. We will definitely come back but stay longer as one week was not long enough to see everything. Done vineyard with giovanni and that experience was the best of the holiday.

We didn't visit Balestrate but used the accommodation at...

We didn't visit Balestrate but used the accommodation at Holiday in Paradise as our final 2 night stay after our 2 week road trip around Sicily to relax prior to our flight back to the UK from Palermo airport. It is only a 30 minute easy drive back to the car hire place and the shuttle back to the airport.

the town is pleasant, and you find everything on the main street. the beach is a disappointment, far and dirty. it's about an hour by bus from Palermo by bus, but there are very few buses, and the train takes nearly 2 hours.

Balestrate is a lively small Sicilian town 30 drive from Palermo airport (Pmo). It is a good starting point for exploring Palermo and west parts of Sicily. The beach seemed a bit abundant but we were there out of tourist season. Rental car is essential as there is so much to explore, from beautiful beaches with crystal clear waters to traditional Sicilian villages and hiking opportunities.

Nice, rather calm town.

Nice, rather calm town. Typical colorful houses, narrow streets, swuare with historic church. They have at least few restaurants with typical, fine cuisine (try disiu pizza - perfect pizza; siculish - artisanal sicilian cuisine; cia vuru ri tradizioni - suprising restaurant with great atmosphere, food and interior). Beach is broad and accessible for swimmimg, a bit not clean (some plastic bottles, etc.), but maybe during the peak season they clean it better (I hope). We had great time, proces are affordable (cafe/restaurant). You may easily reach the town from Punta Raisi by public transport or use private transfer (public transport for 4 person is ca. €30 / private transport €35 booked in Balestrate Jumbo car rental).

Small quiet town.

Small quiet town. Between Palermo and Trapani. 30 minutes car drive to Palermo airport. Good for making trips to Erice, Palermo, Segesta, Monreale. Trafić was not bad at all. Instead of going by car you can take a bus.

Beautiful family run hotel in nature close to the town Balestrate and its beaches, 25 min drive from Palermo airport. The host and his family was incredibly kind and very helpful. Our late arrival was not a problem for them and early breakfast either. There is a nice restaurant with a view to the swimming pool. Rooms are very clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast made of fresh local products. The property looks even better than on the photos on Booking.

We had a fantastic experience at Vista Mare Apartments in Balestrate! The apartment is spotless, clean, and everything is brand new – it looks even better than in the photos! The owners, the kindest people, welcomed us with a fridge full of food, wine, water, and juice—a gesture of rare generosity. Balestrate is a charming little gem with an authentic atmosphere. We highly recommend it!

The hosts were very friendly and helpful. We were allowed to park our motorcycles safe and secure on the premise. The apartment complex is close to the center and coast of Balestrate. It has a nice courtyard/garden and there is also big balconies to enjoy the sun. All in all we had a very pleasant stay in Balestrate.

The host of the hotel was my favorite … I’am not joking, they are brilliant .. all of them! The place is spotless … very clean, room, swimming pool… all around too. Great place if you like to rest but also if you like to see some places there is a bus to Palermo and train .
