What a gem! Welcoming and attentive staff. (Make sure you have a translate app). Location is off the beaten path with great hiking and amazing views any way you look. World’s longest suspension bridge only a few min away. Fantastic breakfast Italian style with premium products. (Note drive to location from Como lake is not for the faint hearted but well worth it)

We had an incredible stay at Guest House Le Cassandre in Sondrio. The heated swimming pool and sauna were perfect for winter relaxation. Lucia, the host, was warm and welcoming, preparing a fresh and delicious breakfast every morning. The breathtaking view of Sondrio from the hotel made our stay even more special. amazing Italian BnB. Loved staying here. The staff was super friendly and did everything to make it a great experience. Loved my room and the spacious refrigerator. Location was perfect for hikes, trail runs and to just enjoy the surround villages. The view was beautiful. I will definitely be back. The possibility to bring my dog made it a 10 out of 10 stay. thank you!

A good starting point for exploring the Valtellina region around Sondrio. Valtellina is a wine-growing area, and the numerous wineries offer wine tastings paired with local specialties. A little higher up, forests invite you to hike. The northern part of Lake Como can be reached in about 30 minutes.

Spontaneously booked for one night we ended up at this fascinating, only briefly opened hotel in an ancient building from 1400 in Berbenno. Lovely modernized and managed by a very nice and perfectly caretaking couple we enjoyed our stay at this place with a fine breakfast the next morning. P.S.: do not forget to have dinner at the local Trattoria Traversi around the corner!

Great family run hotel with excellent restaurant . Room was old fashioned in keeping with the age of the building. No air conditioning in the room but a fan was provided.Hotel room excellent value. Wonderful evening meal and breakfast. Family and other staff very friendly and went out of their way to make your stay a memorable one.

Very warm welcoming by the family running the hotel and the restaurant nearby. Clean duplex with the separate room on the upper level. Very quiet. The building from inside the yard looks like it’s from medieval movie.
