This hotel provided us with a perfect stay next to the lake, they were kind enough to upgrade our room upon arrival as we had our 9 month old baby with us, the grounds of the hotel are really beautiful and scenic, the staff were all wonderful and because of the limited number of rooms it felt very private. we were interested in doing some hiking in nature and managed to find a couple of lovely paths not far from the hotel, would happily recommend this place for anyone wanting to stay in the area.

The hotel is so lovely and quiet. Rita picked us from train station and we spent lovely time there. The walk trail to city is a little bit steep but it is not far away from city center so it was fine for us. Food was delicious and we spent great time there.

Everything was perfect, the hotel was beautiful and in a great location (5 mins walk from the center so it was near but not too loud). The room was gorgeous and breakfast was delicious. We particularly loved the spa where we enjoyed the sauna, steam room and salt room, as well as the outdoor heated jacuzzi. It is expensive but worth it!

Absolute wonderful stay at Hotel Royal Victoria! We had a very nice moment here, the place is perfect, on the lake and well situated in Varenna. The pool, the breakfast, and activities were nice. A beautiful and intimate boutique hotel. Jessica gave us such a warm and friendly welcome, and we even received a complimentary upgrade such a lovely surprise! The view was amazing, the rooms were spotless, and the atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality highly recommended!

Amazing breakfast !!! The Albergo is very basic but it has the... basic staff ! Clean and you can sleep confortably. The best relation price-quality I found in Lago di Como where accomodation is very expensive. Varenna is one of the best villages to visit in the Lake. And the Albergo is like less than 5 minutes walking from the boats arrival / departure. As I wrote in the begining, the breakfast (included) is really really amazing. A lot of yummy stuff (see picture) Conclusion: if you are rich you can go to fancy hotels. If you are not, this Albergo is the best choice.
