what a lovely hotel , the staff is amazing , 2 ladies in the restaurant were perfect, welcome drink upon arrival , kitchen was closed and we were hungry but the lady made a cold plate with a local cheese and ham, room had a small balcony with a nice view, amazing comfortable bed with very good mattresses I slept like a baby , had a dinner in restaurant some pizza and was very tasty ! and very cheap ! parking in front of the hotel free of charge , there is a huge terrace and big restaurant you can choose were to have, diner, lunch or afternoon drink the receptionist/manager/owner made the stay even better felt like a VIP quest all the time thank you for your hospitality breakfast ist served from 8:00-10:00 i like to sleep longer but made it just before closing , the breakfast was good choice of everything what you can ask , very good coffee and local fresh milk , amazing service from the lady even had a chance to get a scrambled eggs (9:45) and served with a smile thank you will be definitely back soon

This hotel is really clean & the staff are lovely the food was also delicious. They helped us out so much when we had some car trouble. The hotel went over and above to help us out and really looked after us. I can’t thank this hotel and all their staff enough.

Amazing, newly refurbished flat. The rooms are tastefully put together, and have all the desired amenities to make a solo traveller or a family feel at home. Just a few minutes away from the funicular to the ski resort and at a short distance from the main town of Madesimo. I truly enjoyed my time there.

The perfect stopover on the way to Switzerland and when...

The perfect stopover on the way to Switzerland and when returning from Venice and Lake Garda and Como. You are transported to a different world with a different temperature and environment. This is a place where you can rest and relax until your next trip. Don't treat this place as an overnight stop only. If you spend only one night there, you will find that the next 20 km of travel will take you all day. Take advantage of the taste of great restaurants, hospitality and be sure to visit gas station and meet these wonderful old people. The surrounding mountains will keep you entertained for the day, especially the borderlands and amazing spirals. Be sure to buy a souvenir from Campodolcino. The temperature difference is stunning and admiration for people and full respect and the fact that you can fall in love with this place. Campodolcino made my vacation extend by two whole days. How amazing it is that you can see it at every step, what strength and effort is put into the tourism of this wonderful place and the surrounding area.

Secluded and quiet, just as expected.

Secluded and quiet, just as expected. A wonderful location, although the access road is a bit challenging due to its narrowness and steep sections. We were there on motorcycles and enjoyed a very pleasant overnight stay while traveling through the area.

Friendliness and courtesy are paramount at this hotel, from the owner to the staff. The surroundings were beautiful and calming. A great atmosphere with an outdoor sauna.

An ideal place to stay for intermediate skiers who value...

An ideal place to stay for intermediate skiers who value peace, quiet, and plenty of space on the slopes (in low season and except on weekends). The only minor drawback: restaurants open from 6:30 PM – I personally try not to eat after this time. Fortunately, our apartment had a well-equipped kitchen :)

It would be a nice little town if the administration did...

It would be a nice little town if the administration did more. Traffic is out of control due to a dispute over whether the municipality or the province should be responsible. Roads in disarray. Few services and entertainment options. Generally, little attention is paid to tourists; they have it too easy anyway because they're on the border with Switzerland, and they still make ends meet without putting in much effort.
