Capaci is a lovely town around 15 minutes train ride from Palermo airport and 40 minutes train ride from Palermo city. There is a beautiful clean beach with good restaurants. The centre of Capaci is a small town with some nice restaurants. It has a very Sicilian feel to it. People are very friendly and helpful.

The destination came to me as a holiday destination for Italians. We didn't hear any other noise on the beach. There was a lot of garbage in the city down to the ground. Capaci itself is not a very touristic destination, but we found a certain charm in it. It's different but you have to try it. We were also in Palermo, it is beautiful, full of monuments and beautiful architecture. We will definitely return to Sicily again, but either when the children are older or when we are older with a tent on the car and we will not be sitting on just one beach. Sicily is beautiful

The town isn't particularly interesting.

The town isn't particularly interesting. It's a typical vacation spot, whose main attraction is the beach. Restaurants and bars are mostly located on the beach. The streets and sidewalks aren't very clean, with quite a bit of trash. The locals are very friendly and helpful.

I didn't like the apartment because it was located on the...

I didn't like the apartment because it was located on the second floor with steep, narrow stairs, making it difficult to get up and down, especially with suitcases. The apartment was large, but the two bathrooms were uncomfortable: one had neither a shower nor a tub, and the other only had a tub with a shower curtain. The location was good.

A great town, just the right size for a holiday, even with children. The pedestrian area is lovely for an evening stroll, with many restaurants, ice cream parlors, and shops. The surrounding beaches are wonderful (I especially recommend Torre Pozzillo). Recommended restaurants for those looking for good food at a good price (Yum Yum and the Faccia di Vecchia pizzeria).

From Capaci, you can actually get around pretty much anywhere in the area: the airport is just a 15-minute drive away, and another 15 minutes to Palermo. However, it's too far to visit other beautiful places in Sicily, such as Syracuse, Ragusa, or Taormina.

We can 100% recommend this place. It’s a very cute terrace house in the old town of Capaci, bars for breakfast and gelaterias etc all around the corner. The house is inside even cuter than on the pictures. The kitchen is full equipment, even basics like salt, pepper, and oil. We cooked every night and it was perfect to use. The house was very very clean, fresh towels, and a free sun umbrella to use. The houseowners are really lovely and very easy. Thanks for the stay. Greta, Rouven and Frederic from Germany.

6/7 min close from the capaci station, great if you want to sleep a bit more before early flight, the town is small but charming and has plenty restaurants if you walk for about 15 min. You also can cook, although we did not used it but you have that option, very nice shower and property was spotless clean. Mr Salvo was very nice and responsive too.

Everything , spacious room , close to sea beach , staff / owner. Owner even allowed us to stay for extra 3 hours as our flight was in the afternoon. It is very close to capaci station , lot of bakery and pizzeria near buy.
