The hotel is in a stunningly beautiful location. Our room had a balcony over-looking the surrounding hills and the swimming pool looks out on them too. The pool is a good size so you can have a proper swim. The hotel is just outside the walls of the pretty mountain village of Montone; the height means there is a nice breeze even during very hot weather. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good.

This property has an amazing view! You have to drive up a fairly steep gravel road to get to it, but it is totally worth it! We were in the studio with Terrace room. There is a large outside balcony that is perfect for your charcuterie and vino/aperitif. But make sure you bring it all with you as it is impossible to just run to the store for a quick stop to grab things. My husband and I thought that this room also had the most comfy bed out of all the ones we stayed in over our week vacation to Cinque Terre, Emilia-Romagna, and Umbria. It was firm and perfect. The hostess put out a large continental breakfast for us and we were filled up. Definitely recommend this place!

The kindest people we have met in Italy! The room was also beautiful and spacious, the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was big as well and had a shower as well as a bath tub. They were very kind and gave us a nice breakfast and toured around the garden. I hope we can visit again.
