We were received by the very lovely staff and had dinner in the hotel restaurant. The food was locally sourced and tasted amazing. The room was clean and cozy and had a great lake view. A tiny breakfast buffet was setup especially for us.

One unique experience, located in the middle of grasslands next to the borders between Tuscany and Emilia-Romagna and kept with a vintage yet comfort style!the hosts were more than warm and treated us with some of the finest products of their fattoria and the area of Emilia-Romagna! There is a very cozy bar nearby and a restaurant with wicked tastes just one minute away! Olympia the dog was the highlight of the stay and always willing to give you some kisses! Beautiful location and lovely buildings and setting. Just off the Via Degli Dei route and is signposted very clearly to get to. Booked in the restaurant for dinner that evening and was able to have drinks before this and play chess! Food was lovely and very friendly staff. Really lovely room with skylight and amazing view down the valley. WIFI available and TV in room. Bed was dressed beautifully. Due to weather we needed a taxi the next day to the next town along which was available from the staff at the farmstay.

Our stay at Crea Una Volta was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, Elena and her lovely daughter Isotta made us feel incredibly welcome—like long-lost friends rather than guests. Their warmth and attention to detail made all the difference, and it’s clear that hospitality runs deep in this family. The apartment itself is charming, cozy, and beautifully curated, with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. But what really took our breath away was the view—directly overlooking the main square of Pian del Voglio. Waking up to that picture-perfect scene every morning felt like stepping into a postcard. Pian del Voglio is a hidden gem—quiet and peaceful, yet full of character and authentic Italian charm. It's the kind of town where time slows down, the people smile at you in the street, and every corner seems to tell a story. Whether you're stopping over on a longer journey or looking for a tranquil escape, this town (and this home) are more than worth the detour. We left with full hearts and a promise to return. Thank you, Elena and Isotta, for sharing your wonderful place with us!
