Leukòs Bed and Breakfast is a lovely place to stay. A great choice for your stay in Castelsaraceno. The apartment is large, clean, comfortable, designer. Giorgia is a great hostess. Very friendly and helpful. She baked a delicious homemade cake. An exceptional breakfast buffet is available. Castelsaraceno is a charming city worth a visit. The locals are friendly, a great attraction is the suspension bridge. We highly recommend this property. Giorgia, Grazie Mille!

The hospitality was exceptional, owner Mauro and his sister Nadia went over the top to help us. We arrived very late in the evening, and they were very helpful, and even drove us to the only place that serves pizza. It was a blessing to find them - a ray of light in a stormy evening.

The locals are exceptionally friendly.

The locals are exceptionally friendly. Everyone greets one another. The view is stunning. The city is well-kept, and many decorate the exteriors of their homes with plants. The food and wine culture is fantastic, and many restaurants offer home-grown produce.

Castelsaraceno is a beautiful mid-altitude Lucanian village, and in our short time there, we met only friendly and kind people who made us feel welcome. Lunch at one of the few restaurants was also up to expectations, even though the selection wasn't extensive, perhaps because September is less crowded. Excellent wine!

We went at my father-in-law's suggestion.

We went at my father-in-law's suggestion. He wanted to learn about the origins of his surname. We were pleasantly surprised by everything: the Ribeta bridge, the food at Lutiico, Bar Pasión, and Federico's Doubt. The kindness of Daniela and Michele (who sell excellent souvenirs from Castelsaraceno), the parish priest, and all the townspeople.

A beautiful village with welcoming and courteous people.

A beautiful village with welcoming and courteous people. The Tibetan bridge was a wonderful experience. Woods and high-altitude hikes within easy reach. Other places of interest are within short driving distance. Delicious food, a wonderful dining experience at "Vito, Taverna Saracena."
