The hotel was in the heart of the historic centre. It offered beautiful views of the medieval centre and from the rooftop terrace, spectacular views of the lake. The piazzas were quiet n the morning but were lively in the late afternoon and evening when people gathered for drinks and food. Never too noisy though. The hotel restaurant was fantastic. Gorgeous meal with lots of local specialties. The buffet breakfast offerings were varied and so delicious. The hotel is in a perfect location with easy access by walking to the beach and the ferry. It was a perfect weekend getaway. I would come back in a heart beat.

Corrado was super nice and he was flexible with arrival time. We were late as we got into a traffic jam and he waited for us late at night which we appreciated a lot after 14 hours of travel. He also replied to messages quickly and the house was great and well-equipped overall!

We stayed one night. Julia, the hostess, was outstandingly helpful and she spoke very good English. The dinner and breakfast were particularly good. We ate dinner outdoors but in good shade from the evening sun. There is a large swimming pool which has a superb view. I highly recommend Romitorio agriturismo.

Amazing peaceful relaxing place to stay, accommodation is exceptional, breakfast was included which was magnificent, they have a restaurant for dinner! Swimming pool was large with lots of chairs around! Views are incredible! Drove around the lake and stopped at lots of little towns,!

Beautiful old hilltop town with lovely restaurants and great views over the lake. We came to this town to relax after a busy time sightseeing, so relaxed by a pool during the day and ate out at night. If you are self catering, there are 3 big supermarkets in the newer part of the town. We walked everywhere as our hotel was with 30 mins of the old town.

The lake wasn’t fun to swim in as the water level was much lower than usual this year. It was also extremely hot end July. You really need an air conditioned car to get around The best restaurant was a Schiacciata place just as you enter the main gate on the right, called Opio. Fresh ingredients and very personable service. Some of the other restaurants were v sub par. Impossible to get fresh fruit anywhere.

Hotel Boutique Castaglione was excellent , Paolo , Roberta and Matteo were SO welcoming , helpful ( including taking us to friends for dinner 15 minute drive away ). town / castle / lake trip all excellent

Clean and convenient location, nice host and great views. Many great restaurants and places to wander- small town but lovely and quaint. I would not have wanted to stay longer than we did but glad we went. I think this place was good value for the secure and clean location.

A super stylish hotel in an old villa by the waters edge. 50 metres from the cheap ferry, which ran frequently and offered free parking at the ferry pier. The room was beautifully stylish, the photos do it no justice, and facilities were first rate. The staff could not be faulted, they were engaging, helpful and could not have done more for us. The food looked and tasted appetising. Finally, the setting was tranquil. Super easy to park, to get the ferry and get to the hotel. Don't let the logistics put you off a magical stay.

Host Paolo’s excellent customer service. he was very kind and generous to us. He introduced excellent bistro and restaurant. He kindly helped to carry our luggages to the parking lot. I am very sure that this hotel is the most comfortable in my journey. I would like to go this hotel again soon. Also, Im looking forward to seeing you again Paolo and hope see you next year at your new hotel. Thank you very much

The view from our third floor bedroom was stunning as it stretched all the way to the lake. We travelled with our dog, who enjoyed running around the expansive grounds. The hotel was rustic in style, charming, and spotlessly clean. Plenty of nice places to sit, both inside and out. Dinner in the restaurant overlooking the grounds was lovely, well cooked food served in an intimate setting.

Stefano, the owner was very pleasant and helpful. The room was very comfortable with extras like a safe and fridge, complete with complimentary water. The breakfast was enjoyable, with options to sit inside or on the terrace. The pool was very clean. The hotel was handy to the supermarket and not far from the lake or old town. Great to have flyscreens.
