This property and stay were both perfect. I was there alone for a wedding. This property was located right in the centre of town. The hosts Vittorio and Cinzia were amazing, replied to everything very quickly, made me feel at home and were so helpful. They arranged multiple car rides for me - I was later horrified to learn that they were being so helpful and responsive despite the fact they had just welcomed their first baby! The same week I was there! Couldnt believe they maintained this wonderful level of service despite being so busy. Would definitely recommend.

The surroundings are beautiful and the pool area is very nice. There are sunloungers and umbrella's, nice flowers and trees, different seating areas around the property. We stayed in the trulli roof, which was a great experience for one night, although for tall people (I am 1.76m), it does require to be careful not to bump your head. The bathroom is quite small and low. There was a small fridge, hairdryer, 2 sets of cutlery, and aircon in the room. There is an adjacent roof terrace with a table and two chairs and two sunloungers. We got extra towels for the pool.

We loved everything about this place. Rino is very welcoming, always making himself available. The place is beyond amazing, clean, beautiful surroundings, great location 6 mins away from the village of Cisternino where you could find great restaurants. The breakfast was a plus, made of home made cakes by Rino's mother. We will be back for sure.

My family and I stayed at Antica Aia B&B for four nights during our trip across the Italian peninsula. I must say that Antica Aia was truly the highlight of our entire trip. Beginning with the enchanting and pleasant drive in Puglia’s Itria valley on to the arrival at the perfectly quaint B&B one is truly mesmerized by the sheer beauty of the location. The greatest treat, however, was reserved for our meeting with Elvira and Francesco, our most gracious hosts. There friendliness is overflowing; there smile is contagious; there welcome is heartwarming. I was astonished! Nowhere else in Italy did we experience such concern for the pleasure of our stay as at Antica Aia. After being greeted so warmly we were shown to our beautiful, superbly clean and well equipped trullo. Elvira carefully took the time to explain everything that we needed to know about our relatively short stay. We were given suggestions about visiting nearby towns and given excellent restaurant recommendations. The breakfast was superb, with fresh fruit, yogurt, juice, coffee and homemade specialties. Any preferences, such as eggs, we’re cheerfully accommodated as well. Breakfast is served outdoors on the trullo’s own private terrace with a wonderful view of the surrounding countryside, making the morning meal extra special. I particularly enjoyed the morning conversations with Francesco who offered us many great suggestions for our excursions within Puglia. The evenings and nights were perfectly quiet and serene. Everything was absolutely perfect! Elvira’s professionalism towards her work and immense passion for her guests is astonishing and made for a truly unforgettable experience for my family and I. The warmth and graciousness offered us during our stay was extraordinary and I can sincerely say it was the best hospitality we experienced throughout our Italian trip. Thank you Elvira and Francesco for a most wonderful stay at Antica Aia B&B. I hope to return very soon.

Cisternino itself is a very lovely cittadina and ideally placed to visit all the towns around such as Ostuni, Ceglie M, Alberobello (although this is like Disneyland), Locorotondo, M. Franca, Monopoli and Putignano, or even Bari. It's also not far from Salento which I combined with this trip and did Lecce, Otranto, Oria, Gallipoli, Castro, S. Maria di Leuca. It is also only just over an hour to Matera which should not be missed and a unique town very much worth the time and kms. There are plenty of restaurants in Cisternino and for your morning coffee e brioche don't miss going to Vignola History or visit the panificio Vignola for a delicious freshly made panino and other treats that will put plenty of padding on the hips.

Cisternino is a beautiful town with friendly people. My Italian is bad but I never had any problems being understood and everyone was very helpful. Go to a place once and they will remember you and your preferences. The food is delicious and plentiful. The town is clean and safe. One of the really nice things is you can go to the edge of town and farms and vineyards are a short walk. Have a drink or coffee in one of the cafes near the edge of town and enjoy the view.

Cisternino quite rightly is one of the most beautiful town of Italy. We so enjoyed meandering the warrens of beautiful cobbled streets surrounded by immaculate white buildings adorned with an assortment of vividly coloured flowers. The people were so friendly and food and general vibe was fantastic. A truly lovely place to stay and explore Puglia! Less touristy and packed than the neighbouring towns. We will be recommending to everyone we know .

Everything was exceptional! Warm welcome from Louisa who showed us round her beautiful Trulli and gardens. We had the generous delicious breakfast on our first day with lots of typical regional food. Trulli was impeccably clean and comfortable. It was also cool and quiet so slept well. The garden and pool were stunningly beautiful. Lots of sun beds to choose from - in or out of the shade, The pool was warm and big enough to do a good few lengths. It was quiet and yet close to beautiful towns like Cisternino and locorondo. Highly recommend

Marco and Family were so welcoming and gave us great ideas and recommendations on what’re to go, what to see and where to eat. This was not only for the local area, but for all places on our Puglian road trip. The location is great, short easy walking distance to centre of town and good for visiting all other nearby towns. Room was charming and we made use of pool every day, even though late September it is a little cold. This was the first place we stayed and really got our holiday off to a great start.
