The host is very nice and supportive, there is always a snack/coffee/tea available in the lobby. The place is clean, beautiful and makes you feel like home. Reliable transportation to/from airport (which is really close) was organized for us by the property at reasonable price.

This all came from our colleague who stayed there. she loved the location and the whole motif of the hotel. it was very homey and felt like you are outside the city. They loved how easy it was to get transport in and around the area. breakfast was lovely with a very good variety of dishes. all in all it was a lovely night for her while waiting for her flight. quite unexpected to say the least for a hotel near the airport.

Great location close to the airport and the sea. Even though I arrived late, I had detailed instructions for self check-in and it went really smoothly. Clean and spacious room. Friendly staff. Fiumicino is best known for its access to the Eternal City through Leonardo Da Vinci International Airport. Despite this recent claim to fame, Fiumicino includes several archaeological sites around the ancient harbors of Ostia and Portus. From the moment we arrived our hosts were wonderful.

From the moment we arrived our hosts were wonderful. They came out immediately to greet us and took our heavy bags upstairs to our room. They offered us expresso and cookies. Our room was large and modern with all the amenities needed. When it was time to leave, we were waiting for our ride share to arrive and they were late. The inn owner came out to the sidewalk to check on us, and he even called the ride share provider on our behalf to check the status. The owners when above and beyond to make our stay comfortable.

Title: Very Disappointing Stay – Would Not Recommend I had high expectations for this hotel based on the photos and reviews, but my experience was extremely disappointing. The room was much smaller than advertised and not very clean — there was dust on the furniture and a strange smell when I entered. The bathroom was outdated, and the shower barely worked. The staff were not helpful at all. When I asked about the air conditioning and Wi-Fi issues, they acted like it wasn’t their problem. The breakfast was poor quality, with cold coffee and stale pastries. The location was convenient, but that’s about the only positive thing I can say. For the price I paid, I expected far better service and comfort. I definitely would not stay here again or recommend it to anyone visiting Italy.

The little coastal town of Fiumicino offers a lot more than...

The little coastal town of Fiumicino offers a lot more than most usually think or assume, probably because it is an airport town. There are many very good restaurants on the little inland waterfront, which is cute and fun to walk down with many active bars and cafes also. There are also more good restaurants and bars etc., on the pretty beach front strip. The town is very safe, people are nice, not a bad place to spend a day at all!

Fiumicino in October is very pleasant and a nice change from the bustle of Rome. The beach is nice and the restaurants are good. It is far superior to most places you have to hang out in to be near an airport for a flight.

The walk from the Diana Home Rome FCO to the restaurants is...

The walk from the Diana Home Rome FCO to the restaurants is only 5 min. The shop owners are amazingly friendly and helpful. The restaurants are famous for their fresh seafood, and of course everything Italian. It's safe and beautiful and a tremendously coveted place to be. Ask the host about setting up reservations, or day trip info, she is exceptionally accommodating beyond any other place we visited. I will forever promote this place. I call my "Happy place" It's a 5 star all the way around. clean environment, secure, helpful and caring people, and super great value. Smiles, and love surrounds this place. I wish I could move here...I could market it 100%

This is the first time I stayed in an apartment during...

This is the first time I stayed in an apartment during vacation. This apartment is clean and close to the FCO airport. Franco, the apartment manager or owner, is extremely helpful. He sent clear instructions to access the apartment through WhatsApp. Whenever I asked him questions through WhatsApp, he responded very quickly with clear answers or explanations. He helped to arrange a taxi to drive my son and me to the airport. His services are wonderful. We enjoyed staying in this apartment.

Good buffet breakfast at reasonable price. Excellent dinner one night in hotel restaurant. Very good shuttle service to and from the airport. Ideal place to stay for one or two nights when in transit by air or train (fast train connection from main station in Rome to airport). Fiumicino is an interesting working fishing town - plenty of good fish restaurants serving the days catch. Worth walking around the town, fishing canal and marina. Relief from the hustle of the normal tourist areas of Rome.

We needed a nice spot close to the airport, but didn't want to spend a lot of money on the hotels close by. We fount this great little B&B and the host could not have been nicer. She drove us into the town of Fiumicino and explained things as we went. She also made arrangements to have us picked up on the morning of out flight. The only thing left to do was to enjoy the amazing breakfast that she prepared for us. Thank you!! :-)

The hotel is conveniently located close to Fiumicino Airport with a free shuttle bus from the terminal. The room was basic but comfortable enough for an overnight stay and very clean. The best thing about this hotel was the fantastic buffet breakfast which was included in our room rate. The choice and quality of breakfast options was superb!
