This was, by far, the best kept boutique hotel we have been to. Spotless inside and out. The sraff are extremely kind and accomodating. We intend to make return trips here. Though Pizzo is a smaller town compared to its neighbour Tropea and others, its charm far exceeds its size. The restaurants in the piazza are like cousins that live on the same street, calling at eachother across the square and sending patrons from one spot to the next showing such a heartwarming sense of community. Yes, the tartuffi are outstanding, from artisnal gelato to the fresh nuts and coatings they use. The location is quite central to other popular tourist destinations requiring short drives or train rides to those spots without the hefty price tags or overcrowded piazzas. Overall the wirst part of the trip was having to leave. It began to feel like home very fast thanks to the staff at the hotel and in the piazza. Highly recomended.

We were super satisfied with our stay! The castle hotel is truly unique — spacious rooms and full of history, as it once served as a military hospital during the Second World War. The atmosphere is amazing. Francesco was fantastic — very helpful, check-in was smooth, and he kindly arranged a late checkout for us. The room was spotless and very comfortable. It had everything we needed — toiletries, fresh clean towels and all the little details that made our stay extra special. For anyone looking for a unique experience in the beautiful village of Filadelfia, this place is definitely worth a visit. Being woken up by the church bells in the morning had its own special charm! Clean and spacious apartment. Staff were super friendly and helpful. It was nice to have parking on site. Breakfast was mostly sweets and treats. Location was excellent - just around the corner from the ocean promenade. Fairly quiet too.

The greatest spot to stay in Pizzo City was this house. The host was incredibly kind and accommodating even before we arrived. He answered all of our questions, enabling us to arrive at the accommodations ready. The home was close to all the beachside restaurants and the beach in less than five minutes. The neighbours were really kind and friendly too. The apartments were exquisite, immaculate, and extremely well-maintained. My family was visiting Italy for the first time, and I'm sure that the residence and host enhanced the experience. Strongly suggested, and we will definitely return to Casa Penelope.
