We stayed in Framura so as to visit the Cinque Terre (not Framura as such). We felt the Cinque Terre to be over-rated and very expensive and with lots of unnecessary complexity about tickets for trains in and even having to pay for walks. We went elsewhere for our third full day in the area. We did really enjoy one walk and the time in Vernazza but not Monterosso. Staff were very nice and helpful 24/7 (really - it was impressive). They even helped us to book restaurants near the place as we did not want to go to the hôtel restaurant. The bartender at the pool was lovely. By the way they say the pool is unheated (I was skeptic about that) and it was actually the best and warm enough pool of our trip in Italy.
