This is not a tourist hotel. It is a beautifully run friendly family inn and local bar. Before setting out the host kindly advised on the Centomiglia classic car event that we came to see, and on transport from Venice and to Conegliano by taxi. We received a warm and personal welcome. The room was large and very comfortable in a traditional local style with a view over a stream into the hills behind the town. The bar and front terrace overlook a small square where one can enjoy good Prosecco and watch the world go by. We booked for dinner which was excellent and very reasonable. Breakfast was also very good with great coffee, big fresh pastries, ham and scrambled egg. The local area is wonderful for cycling and walking but completely unspoiled, and this Albergo is the ideal place from which to appreciate it.

We arrived late and thought we would not eat that night. But we were warmly greeted and a wonderful woman who spoke English sat us down and we were able to order a lovely meal and wine at very reasonable price. Locals were dining in the main part of the restaurant and she seated us by a fire in a cozy corner. Afterwards we had a room upstairs, very nicely appointed, clean, comfortable. It was a very nice experience, one we will not soon forget. It is a bit out-of-the-way, but well worth the journey. GPS takes you on a very narrow roundabout way, so check carefully and take the main roads.

The hotel is clean and comfortable. It has the most beautiful garden and pool, right next to the river. It's an oasis. The food is exceptional. I had all three deserts and as a pastry chef, I have to say they were top notch. A lovely home away from home.

The surrounding area is especially beautiful.

The surrounding area is especially beautiful. No mass tourism, but also no deserted villages. We (with three teenagers) rented e-bikes in Follina from Italy Rent. Excellent bikes and service. There are beautiful bike paths and various routes. Truly stunning. Coffee and a delicious lunch along the way. Highly recommended! The most delicious pizzas at Al Lido di Balbinot Piera. Lots of choice and affordable.

A beautiful spot by the lake.

A beautiful spot by the lake. It's also centrally located for excursions. We were almost alone at the lakeside beach, which was about 100 meters from our accommodation. There's a great pizzeria by the lake and an outrageously expensive osteria by the church.
