Lenno is a great place to stay for those, who are looking for more calm place as Varenna or Bellagio. You can find here a hotspot - Villa del Balbianello and there is a good ferry connection to the "golden triangle" of the lake Como - Bellagio, Varenna, Menaggio. Villa de Balbianello was a hit with our daughter (a Star wars fan) Lenno lakeshore is attractive, with a nice range of cafe/ restaurants - and a very popular ice cream parlour! Good ferry service to Bellagio, Como and other destinations on the Lake. Good (but hilly) walks in the area - Komoot has a number of options for this. We have been before so knew Lenno well. We were there in the summer and it is a totally different experience with cafes, markets and busy! This time we were there in winter so do realise that alot is closed and ferries limited. Lenno is a really lovely small town on Lake Como. It has a great beach for swimming in the lake. It is less busy than the bigger towns so is definitely for people who are looking for more of a relaxing holiday & less of a party vibe holiday. Accommodation was on the top floor with amazing views of the Lake. Couldn't get enough of it. Did have stairs but didn't bother us. 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, sitting and eating area and a kitchen.
