The location is great, close to varrena and has a nice view of the mountain.it also has a nearby restaurant with delicious italian dishes. the staff is super friendly and helpful in every way, they even helped us when we had a car problem. the room is very clean and comfy in a quiet area.

The owners had everything prepared to us, the place felt luxurious and is beautifully located. Very easy acces via trainstation (road up on hill). There is a small baker nearby with some nice goodies. We had a amazing stay, grazie!

The apartment has a great standard and is very cozy and nicely decorated. The location is fantastic – right by the lake. Next to the apartment there is a pier where you can take a ferry to Bellagio. The train station is only a 5-minute walk away. We will definitely come back!

Amazing location right on the lake shore ... we could have spent hours just listening to the wash of the waters and watching the view! We loved having own own terrace ... which you could swim from! The apartment was comfortable and well equipped, and Lierna felt like a small, friendly, lived in village with all necessary services. Hosts were friendly and available. Would definitely try to book again if passing this way in the future.

The apartment is located in a beautiful old house, it is completely renovated with a lovely terrace overlooking the yard and a beautiful view from the upper bedroom to the lake. There is everything you need even for a longer stay - a hair dryer, coffee maker, iron, extra blankets, oven, dishwasher, coffee, tea, jams, there was even pasta😄. the town is quiet and peaceful with one small market in the area, ideal as a base for trips around the area. I spent 3 days there with friends and we were delighted:)

La Corte Della Carla was the perfect place from which to explore Lierna and Lake Como. The house itself was fully equipped with everything we needed, very comfortable, and the air conditioning provided a welcome reprieve from the occasionally sweltering heat. The host, Ivana, was beyond lovely and made certain that we were comfortable (including driving us from the Piazza when we arrived). We hope to return someday!!!

The apartment was modern, very clean and finished to a high standard. Host was so friendly and helpful, including some wonderful local restaurant recommendations. The garden at the rear was great with views of the mountains and the large balcony at the front gave stunning views of Lake Como. Will definitely stay again if we come back to the area.

Adorable town, friendly people and the staff at the Amico Market were patient with my Italian and super helpful!!! It's not as well known as Como, Varenna (its neighbor up the road) or Bellagio but we loved the quaint, quiet charm. Highly recommend staying here, preferably in town close to the lake vs. up on the hill!

Lierna is a small quiet town on lake Como.

Lierna is a small quiet town on lake Como. It has a few restaurants and shops including an amazing gelato shop who do the best coconut ice cream. There is a beautiful part of the lake where you can swim (accompanied by ducks) with a pebbly beach. The train service to other parts of the lake is a great way to see other towns located on the lake or further if you prefer not to drive. Would love to return to Lierna again one day.

I recently stayed at this apartment and was thoroughly impressed. The place is even more beautiful in person, with a truly astonishing view. Public transport is easily accessible from the location, making commuting a breeze. The apartment was clean and surprisingly more spacious than the photos indicated. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a great stay!

Wonderful area of the lake that has a less touristic feel...

Wonderful area of the lake that has a less touristic feel and is less busy than the other areas we visited. Many places to swim, including a larger “beach” with bar that serves takeaway drinks to enjoy near the water. Local cafes and restaurants and easy train and ferry access to other parts of the lake. People we encountered were very welcoming and friendly.

Lierna itself was more authentic & less touristic than other...

Lierna itself was more authentic & less touristic than other towns around the lake but was a perfect spot for day trips by ferry around the lake - or a quick 10 minute drive up the road to Varenna. There was a good little supermarket in the village - with a friendly lady who spoke English - though the big Iperal supermarket at Mandello was only 10 minutes drive away. There were a number of restaurants in town & we had a great meal at Sottovento which was clearly very popular with the locals.

A great location for stay. Very nice beach just in front across the road and a historic villa and garden in a 10-minute drive. The room we booked was spacious, clean, and very convenient. Another great bonus is parking and restaurant. The restaurant is run by the owners of the hotel and offers delicious menu. If I will to come to Lake Como again, I will definitely stay here one more time.

The house and hosts are wonderful. We had everythong we need and enjoyed our staying in Lierna. The house is like a true familuy home and provides a lot of information about opportunities to travel in the area. The hosts are the best we`ve ever met, very hospitable, kind and open. Will highly recommend the house. It is the best possible option!!!!!!!!!

The apartment was in the lovely town of Lierna which was well located for trains and ferries to see the sites of Lake Como but was also not too busy or touristy. The apartment is spacious, clean, comfortable and good value for money. Plus it has aircon and free parking! It is also within walking distance of a stunning beach which has a little kiosk.

Lierna is a really nice place, not overtaken by tourist. The Casa Ilde is a cozy flat, spacious for 4 people even on rainy days and the balcony/terrace is spacious and has nice views in a quite area. The host was so lovely to leave us a welcoming apero which we really enjoyed. The kitchen has salt, pepper and oil.
