From its prime location that offers easy access to local attractions, to the delectable food served at their restaurant, every aspect of our stay exceeded our expectations. A highlight of our experience was the warm welcome and outstanding service provided by Alessia at the reception. Alessia was not only helpful by providing all the information we needed to explore the area, but her proactive approach and pleasant demeanor made us feel especially cared for during our stay. Nice little village. Local stores and restaurants and a small port. The castle is beautiful and illuminated by night. We got a rebate voucher from our hotel. Be careful, during offseason most places close 21:00! Opposite to usual habits to eat late. Understandable though with lack of guests.

Lovely town with lovely restaurants and bars. Can get a little busy during the day and at night, but we ate just a little earlier to avoid waiting too long. Great base to explore the top of Lake Garda

Malcesine is a great little village and Hotel Malcesine had...

Malcesine is a great little village and Hotel Malcesine had some of the best Italian food I have ever eaten. Be aware that the gondolier to Monte Baldo is incredibly inefficient and you can spend over an hour waiting to get onto the gondolier and even more getting back Having said that I would absolutely recommend going up Baldo for the breathtaking views. But take a book!

Awesome place to visit - lots of charming streets and lovely bars and restaurants and quaint shops. It quitens down on an evening when day visitors go home ! Castle worth a visit views from Tower are awesome / too many lovely restaurants and coffee shops to name ! Loved swimming in lake past the castle ! Visited Monty balding last time so didn’t do this time but fab trip if visiting!

Malcesine is a busy town spread down the east side of the lake. It has a frequent bus service which is not expensive and easier than trying to find somewhere to park! There is a wide range of hotel accommodation to suit most budgets. The beaches are pebbly, but the water is very clear so great for swimming or just cooling off. There are plenty of places to eat, again to suit most budgets and tastes. This was our second visit to the area and we will certainly return.

Wonderful location with a beautiful terrace where we enjoyed breakfast every morning, stunning views, everything very clean. The staff were all so kind and helpful – the brother and sister working as waiters and the barman were always smiling and welcoming. Delicious food as well! At the end of our stay we received a lovely surprise from the hosts – a beautiful calendar for next year with stunning photos of Malcesine and Lake Garda. Truly a wonderful gesture! We highly recommend visiting this place.

Absolutely amazing smaller hotel with a family atmosphere outside the main crowded centre of Malcesine, but 10 minutes walk from the beach of Lake Garda. Absolutely fascinating breakfast that you don't get even in the best so-called luxury hotels. Everywhere clean, staff helpful and smiling. Definitely recommended!

We liked the stunning views of Lake Garda from our apartment. The owner, Marianne was very friendly & very helpful, suggesting places to visit. Nothing was too much trouble for her. The swimming pool was a lovely place to relax. Only a 10-15 minute walk into the centre of Malcesine.
