A nicely maintained older hotel with truly phenomenal views. We chose this location as a stopover on our way from Livorno, where we arrived by ferry. I highly recommend it, especially in the summer, as the higher altitude brings slightly cooler temperatures. The village is charming and offers pleasant walks. It also has a good restaurant and a small shop. The hotel features a lovely small pool as well. For us, it was a truly positive experience.

This place was set in a stunning location along a perfect narrow winding road, almost teasing you to what was to come. I was lucky to find myself as the only guest during my stay. I was spoilt! Katya and Andrea treated me as one of their family. It was peaceful, in beautiful setting surrounded by wildlife. We were even treated to the sounds and sights of deer rutting… an absolute privilege. Our stay here was absolutely amazing – we honestly wish we could give 12 out of 10, even though the scale only goes to 10! The place itself is beautiful, clean, and peaceful – a little slice of paradise. The breakfast was simply heavenly. From the moment we arrived, he greeted us with a warm handshake and a genuine smile.
