I loved the fact there was a communal kitchen, accessible at any time! The facilities were spotless and so was my room! They kindly made me a yummy breakfast sandwich, due to my ridiculously early check-out. And what a lovely touch to have a basket of sweets, placed in my room 😋 to munch on!

The property is beautifully located in the Tuscan hills with great views all around. But Dario the host was an absolute pleasure, he was kind enough to drop us off at a delicious retaurant that he recommended and we travelled there on bike and he didn’t feel it was safe to cycle back in the dark. He offered lots of advice about the local area and put on an excellent breakfast for us. Could not have asked for more from Dario and his lovely farm house

We have been travelling from Canterbury to Rome and have stayed in many hotels and guesthouses along the way, this will stand out in our memories because of the hospitality and comfort. Simona is a VERY nice host. The appartments are very practical and furnished with love. Everything was very clean. 15-20 minutes by car to the beach are ok. Talamone and other places around are very nice for trips into the surrounding. Shops are close by car. And the redwine of Maremma (our first bottle was a gift - and not the only one - of Simona) is excellent. The very clean appartments have everything you need (including air condition; and even everything you need in the kitchen!) and the beds had been very good. Our son had space and a small football-goal for playing; the pool was very nice and the water clean. Only one night (before thunder and lightning) we had problems with mosquitoes, although there are good mosquitoe-screens in front of the large windows. All in all, we can only recommend to visit Camera dei ladri with its nice hosts.
