A nicely maintained older hotel with truly phenomenal views. We chose this location as a stopover on our way from Livorno, where we arrived by ferry. I highly recommend it, especially in the summer, as the higher altitude brings slightly cooler temperatures. The village is charming and offers pleasant walks. It also has a good restaurant and a small shop. The hotel features a lovely small pool as well. For us, it was a truly positive experience.

House is lovely. Situated in a woodland setting with views of the valley and the nearest village, where there is a lovely pizzeria. House is very comfortable with comfy sofas, a lovely well-equipped kitchen, a large kitchen table, as well as useful outdoor seating areas, including in the garden and on the balcony of the upper floor. Beds are comfortable and lovely shower is just what's needed after a hot, sunny day. Nice touches we appreciated included having soft throw blankets for the sofas while flopping at the end of a day of sightseeing, and having a selection of seasoning, spices, rubs etc in the kitchen. For families, a washer and separate drier is always a bonus. We were very happy here and were grateful to have good WIFI and the option of watching smart TV, of which there are three.

This a regular stay for me and I will be returning. Everything from the location, the breakfast and the room is perfect. The staff are very friendly and go that bit extra. The restaurant has wonderful choices for meals and I liked the updated look and layout.

Very nice and helpful staff, good location in the older part of Pistoia and close to the Duomo, good breakfast, large room with large bathroom and large shower. Many restaurants in the area. La Cantinetta just in front of the hotel can be highly recommended, very good food and excellent service.

Friendly helpful lovely staff and a wonderful poolside breakfast was happily set up for our multi generational family. Easy parking (large free car park opposite), very convenient for the funicular (250m) to the old town which was magical at night for dinner. Recommend to make a restaurant reservation in advance especially if you want an outdoor table.

Lovely spa, we enjoyed after the massages. Very nice breakfast, lovely view and located next to a beautiful park leading to the town centre. TV has many international channels in a few languages. Very comphy bed, great shower.
