The room and building were very clean, beautifully finished, and made with high-quality wood. We arrived around 9 p.m. and were warmly welcomed by a very pleasant young lady, who we later discovered was the host and also lived in one of the rooms in the same flat. The location is simply beautiful — the surrounding hills are picture-perfect and very well maintained. On our visit to the nearby borgo of Ripartisone, which we instantly fell in love with, we could even see the mountains with their first snow of the season. If you are in the area, visit Montedinove, from the main piazza you’ll enjoy a breathtaking, unspoiled view: the sea to the left, gentle rolling hills in the middle, and the mountains to the right. Simply dreamy. We absolutely adored the Marche region — it has nothing to envy of Tuscany!

It is a typical hilltop town with steep, narrow roads along which people stroll in the evenings. Drivers were careful and with the narrow steep roads I was happy to leave driving to someone else. Roads never felt scary and the pace of life is pleasantly relaxed so we never felt under any pressure. When we were there the central square was closed to traffic one evening for a festival, tables had been set up and the place was thronged. Lovely! The cool quiet churches all deserve a visit and there are some outdoor cafes open at some times for snacks. There are a couple of excellent restaurants and somewhere to buy gelati. We saw Italian tourists but it is out of the way for foreigners such as us....which we liked. There are 5 museums but opening times need to be discovered. We met with kindness and good humour wherever we went. It is best explored on foot and the old, more interesting parts can be walked around over a day. Everywhere closes 1-5pm and we were happy to join in the custom of an afternoon rest. There are supermarkets and places to buy local foods if you are self-catering. We had family in a neighbouring valley and were able to travel even late at night to visit. The hillside roads are windy and unlit but they are mostly empty, wide enough for passing, well-maintained on the whole and other drivers we did meet were always considerate. A car is essential to travel between towns or down to the Adriatic coast

Very characteristic, clean and well-kept village located at...

Very characteristic, clean and well-kept village located at 411 meters above sea level. Beautiful view. We stayed 7 days to go to the seaside. In this case, getting around by car is a bit difficult.

This is the perfect place to relax in a quiet and rural...

This is the perfect place to relax in a quiet and rural setting with all the comforts and fantastic service. Hiking opportunities within a reasonable distance (grotta del infernaccio is highly recommended) or a tour of the small cozy medieval villages. The cultural heritage of Le Marche is amazing and you can visit many incredible churches in the surrounding area.

A beautiful village.

A beautiful village. Also, just a few kilometers away, you can visit Ascoli Piceno and other villages... I'd say Montefiore dell'Aso is a strategic location, away from the chaos of the city and convenient for exploring the surrounding area.

The town is very quiet and peaceful, perched on a hill, with good access, but the main road (watch your navigation—it sometimes takes you down roads you simply can't drive through). I recommend Montefiore dell'Aso and the entire Marche region.

THE PROPERTY IS LOCATED IN THE HISTORIC CENTER OF MONTEFIORE. RECENTLY RENOVATED, IT OFFERS EVERY COMFORT. The breakfast is excellent, featuring top-quality, artisanal products, not supermarket snacks. IT WOULD BE WORTH RETURNING JUST FOR THE EXCELLENT BREAKFAST AND THE YOUNG HOST'S FRIENDLY GUEST.
