The property is located in a beautiful piazza close to many cafes and eateries. It is a 1 bedroom accommodation that has absolutely everything you could ask for. The host met us at the accommodation and went over and above to ensure we were comfortable . We had many questions relating to eateries and things to see and do and Anna was very accommodating in answering our questions. The apartment is exactly as seen in photos.

Beautiful and elegantly equipped room, very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was excellent with a very nice small buffet and home made delights. Domenico was an amazing host that advised us a local macelleria for grilled meat dinner. This was a special and great experience. We absolutely reccommend this B&B!

A lovely little Italian town, where you can buy delicious mortadella and ham in the shop in the morning, and crispy bread in the small bakery. From here you can drive to Matera, Altamura, Locorotondo, Alberobello, Bari and the surrounding area, and when you return in the evening you can eat wonderful pizza (and everything else) at, for example, Il Trappeto ristorante-pizzeria.

As charming on the mountain as Matera. Well-preserved buildings, lots of work is being done on them. The post office is open more often than in Germany! Good infrastructure, very friendly people, cheaper than Matera. Highly recommended. 👍

We loved this gorgeous little hilltop town. And the accommodation beside the Abbey! Everything was sparkling clean and a very high standard. The hosts have an eye for detail and the spacious room, kitchen area and outside terrace with flower pots and view was just such a pleasure to enjoy. Parking was right outside the door. Instead of dining out we walked to the nearby supermarket and bought ham, tomatoes, cheese, grapes and melon and enjoyed it on the terrace. A lovely night in Montescaglioso thank you.

Upon arrival, I was made to immediately feel at home by the host. I had been traveling since the morning from Catania by train, then ferry, then train again, a bus and finally a 4 hour drive. After the basic tour of amenities the host paused for a breath and asked if I was hungry. A moment later a phone call was made and the fact that travel caused me to miss lunch was a distant memory. Well appointed room, excellent bathroom, fresh, airy and comfortable. The people of Montescaglioso are the best!

The room/apartment had all the needed amenities, including a washing machine. It was clean and like new. The room felt like a hotel room. I liked the softer bed and memory foam pillow. The owner, Antonio, was extremely nice. His wife made a wonderful marble cake for breakfast. I would stay here again.

Montescaglioso it's an awesome discover very nearby Matera. The place is much bigger then i expected and built in a nice arch. Looked very typical to me. I haven't seen the staff but they helped me out well with the self check in and the stay!
