Excellent hotel up in the hills of Varenna, very peaceful and I can imagine it's an Ideal location in the busy months away from the main town. Rita was the perfect hostess, very pleasant and helpful, breakfast was fantastic and the room was perfect and a great size, would highly recommend. My friend and I only stayed one night so feel that we couldn't appreciate it as much as we would have liked! It's a steep climb up cobbles to the top but we enjoy a challenge! Just be careful as very slippery in the wet! Rita kindly offered for us to be picked up from the station or you can get a taxi 😊 Also a short walk up to the castle which is well worth a visit for the history and stunning views

My partner and I had a fantastic stay at Parco San Marco. The resort is beautifully located between the lake and the mountains, offering stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. Our room was comfortable and well-equipped, with a lovely view of Lake Lugano. We enjoyed a relaxing spa treatment and a paddle on the lake, both of which were highlights of our trip. The food at the resort’s restaurants was delicious, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Overall, it was a perfect spot for a romantic escape, and we’re looking forward to returning in the future!

    Ossuccio is a small quiet lakeside residential area. The Lido was great with shady grass areas with easy lake access for swimming and paddlebaording, nice restaurant at the Lido with helpful staff and nice menu of drinks and food options. Easy walking distance to Lenno 20mins and the Villa Bilbianello and the Lenno ferry port. Easy walking passageways on the Como Greenway walk ways.

    the accommodation was great, when we found it!

    the accommodation was great, when we found it! but as we arrived at night it didn't help. Francesco stayed up late to help us via text. Lovely little flat, although we weren't in it for long as we were out discovering.. The visit was perfect, parking available and the flat was warm which was necessary.. Just right!

    Ossuccio is right at the Greenway del Lago di Como.

    Ossuccio is right at the Greenway del Lago di Como. If you like long walks/hikes or walks along the lake, this region is perfect. It is very quiet and peaceful. There are old churches and villas nearby to see. You can reach Como city centre in 45 mins by public transport, although the buses don't have a fixed schedule and are late most of the time due to the narrow roads. Keep in mind, that getting a taxi in Como is difficult (Uber doesn't exist there), especially at late hours. It would also cost around 100 Euro.

    Ossuccio is one of many small villages that nestle against each other all along the west coast of Lake Como. By itself it's quiet, with a few good restaurants and a nice (but uphill) path to a religious sanctuary, along which one can learn about the history of Christianity. But the best part is its proximity to the lake and other villages with amazing attractions, like Varenna and the Castello di Vecchio (by boat across the lake, and be prepared for a very steep hike), Trenno (many good restaurants), and the towns of Bellagio (great shopping) and Como (churches and many restaurants and much shopping). If you want accommodations in a quiet, residential area that's close to a lot of the Lake's most well-known attractions, Ossuccio is for you.

    Cute B&B in a great location for exploring Lake Como. It’s ideal if you have a car, as it's located uphill, even though it looks close to the lake on the map. We had a room with a beautiful lake view, which was definitely worth it. The house has a lovely yard in front and there’s enough parking space available right in front of the property. The surrounding is very quiet and peaceful, perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. Michele was a great host, very kind and helpful throughout our stay.

    Great place for vacations, for relaxation and for traveling around Lake Como. Amazing view from the terrace and from the pool area. Big and clean apartments, well maintained area. The residence is just few meters from the "Greenway del Lago di Como" so it's great spot to explore the area on foot. We had very great time here, thank you :)

    This property is stunning and highly memorable because of the wonderful views from every room, over lake Como and snow-capped mountains. It is peaceful, charming and finished to a very high spec. We loved every room. Maria, who welcomed us when we arrived, was so helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay perfect.

    The Villa is located in a gorgeous village, one of the quietest on Lake Como, the Villa is absolutely stunning its 3 floors & has a lift so perfect for people with mobility issues like myself. The Villa was so spacious very clean & everything was just beautiful.
