After 7 hours of riding my motorcycle, Berghotel Franzenshöhe was just what I needed to relax and recharge. The place was really calm and quiet at night, perfect for a good sleep. I stayed in a single room — the shower was a bit small, but totally fine after a long day on the road. The room was clean and comfy. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and honestly, they made the whole stay even better. Dinner and breakfast were both really tasty and hit the spot. Whether you’re on a bike or driving, this hotel is a great place to stop. I’d definitely recommend it! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The Samoyed dogs at the house are fantastic! Every day we had a clean room and fresh towels. Breakfast and dinner were fair, with everything being of high quality and delicious. It's in a good location, and most importantly, it's a bike-friendly accommodation with storage. I can only recommend it.

The place is absolutely perfect, I don't know why I couldn't find good quality accommodation... and we saw many old hotel buildings on the way there that were already closed... I don't understand, even though it's beautiful, and the mountain is located at the top of the route, at the foot of the glacier cable car.

We were treated to a lovely light snowfall.

We were treated to a lovely light snowfall. The road cleaning services were excellent, both for the roads and the establishments. The road is well signposted, although there are a couple of very narrow sections. If you enjoy driving (motorcycle, car, or bicycle), this is a must-see.

What a beautiful drive up and down.

What a beautiful drive up and down. Just wait a bit in the morning until the clouds disappear (around 9:30 a.m. for us). Upstairs, there are lots of shops, bratwurst stalls, and a few (acceptable) restaurants.

For mountain lovers, the Stelvio Pass is a must-see, although it can be reached by car. The landscape is breathtaking, overlooking the Ortler Mountains, and there's also a wide variety of hiking and biking trails.

Mrs Mirella, the owner, was very friendly and helpful, she is also a qualified sommelier and food was really good. Overall, the hotel personnel was very nice with us and made us feel at home. Location is on the top of the Stelvio pass, so amazing views, hiking on surrounding mountains can start from the hotel doorstep, and the ski lifts to go up on the glacier (were we managed half a day skiing, in August!) are 5 minutes walk. A ski rental shop is just next to the hotel bar.

GreatLocation,fantastic views,cosy type hotel,safe for motorbikes. Great rooms. Breakfast great choices, evening meals great. Relaxed,less hustle than other hotels on the peak of the Stelvio Pass. Staff friendly,informative. Small walk to summit and "commercial"centre of the Stelvio pass. Hairdrier available from reception.

A beautiful hotel, has a very great atmosphere to match the top of Stelvio pass. The staff hardly speaks any english but they are still very helpful and nice! Had a parking spot for my car right by the hotel too.
