The town is divine, the surroundings are neat, clean, smiling and friendly people. Despite the bustle of tourists in the evening, it was pleasant and relaxing. The whole city smells of good food, it's hard to choose where to eat and what to eat. The food, I can't describe how good it was. The stomach sings. Very friendly and helpful personel, nice room, big and comfortable bed, clean bathroom, breakfast included in the price.. Some restaurants and shops close by. Hotel has a parking which is a huge plus if you come by car. Around Garda it's not easy to park, as the space is limited.

Everything was exactly as I needed. Ideal location with free, easy parking out front. A good price. The staff were fantastic: so helpful & friendly. My room was perfect, spacious enough with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was one of the best hotel buffets I have ever had, everything top quality. Excellent restaurant.

We were there in the shoulder period .

We were there in the shoulder period . Was a nice paced smaller town . Great weather without being too hot or cold . We hired E bikes and ride everywhere on little day trips . Very easy and safe to get around . The owner gave restaurant tips which were all great . Warning , be careful of Gypsy’s … we got taken for 40 euro by two very convincing girls with clipboards and signatures pretending to be deaf !

Easily reached from Verona and an interesting place with it's massive Venetian style defensive walls. It has a couple of pretty areas, but there isn't a lot else of historic interest here. Plenty of nice places to eat though, with Osteria Rivelin and Amici Miei Tipicoteca the standouts that we tried. From here you can use the ferries and buses to go elsewhere quite easily - as long as you are relaxed about bus timetables. Theme parks Gardaland and Movieland are pretty close by as well, for the kids. Finally, the people are lovely and friendly everywhere.

Peschiera is a lively town at the edge of Lake Garda.

Peschiera is a lively town at the edge of Lake Garda. It has lots of shops, bars and restaurants. It offers easy access to boat trips, walks and cycle-paths, as well as other lakeside towns. It is ideal for trips further afield as the express trains stop here, allowing day-trip access to Brescia, Verona, Milan and Venice

Peschiera was beautiful, the train was 3.50 euros return...

Peschiera was beautiful, the train was 3.50 euros return from Bella Italia hotel into Peschiera and a time table is provided. The boat trips and ferry trips are very easy to access to visit other towns. We used the bus twice which always ran about half an hour late but still turned up. The staff on reception were also very helpful and organised a taxi for us. Also the staff in the La Chandra were lovely and the food was delicious.

I have the impression that the town has lost so many of its...

I have the impression that the town has lost so many of its services - supermarkets, fruit and veg shops, delis - and the permanent citizens of Peschiera have put their efforts into restaurants, bars and shops. It is a very pretty town but I feel it is not a real town but a tourist town. In high season the ferries are frequent to visit towns around the lake. The bus service in the area functions but is crowded due to the huge number of tourists.

Very easy to get around & family friendly.

Very easy to get around & family friendly. Loved walking around the lake in early morning. We went in June, it was hot and there were lots of tourists. I would recommend going off season if you're looking for something a bit more intimate and cooler weather. Trampoline near lake was fun for all, rented a boat and drove around the lake, took the ferry to Sirmione for a spa treatment and dinner, went on a 1/2 day bike tour a along the river, which all of us throughly enjoyed and will remember (2 in early 70s, a 50 year old and 15 year old).

The location of the hotel was fantastic. Maybe a 10 min walk to the lake and centre. 20 min walk from train and we walked to and from the train station no problem. The staff are fantastic and very very helpful. The hotel is spotlessly clean. Breakfast was top class with as much food as you could want. Pool is a great size and great sun beds with poolside bar. Air conditioning in the room is excellent. I would definitely return to this hotel. Well done to all the staff - cleaners, receptionist, bar staff and breakfast great job 👏 5 ⭐️

This hotel scores top marks considering the * rating and price. Location is superb, cleanliness, facilities exceeded expectations and it is the host and his team which take this hotel to the next level. The hotel has a lovely bar, terrace and breakfast room, bedrooms are traditional Italian style. It is literally 30 seconds walk from Lake Garda, a short walk from restaurants and an enjoyable 20 minute walk from the town centre along the promenade. I would most certainly stay here again.

A fantastic accommodation near the train station. I received a very warm welcome from the host, Francesca, who provided excellent information about good restaurants and other tips. The room was both homely and cozy. The accommodation offers free parking subject to availability, which was nice. There's also a lovely rooftop terrace to enjoy in the evenings. I would be delighted to visit again.

We loved the big balcony with a stunning view of Garda Lake. Our room was comfortable and very clean. The breakfast was really tasty - the hotel offers a wide variety of snacks and dishes. The staff was also very helpful and kind. Even though water wasn't very warm, we still enjoyed the outdoor swimming pool :)
