The host and her family gave us a lovely warm welcome and were always asking about our wellbeing. Driving into the premises with this picturesque house and garden never got old during our stay. We enjoyed having a little breakfast on the outside table, the trees provided shadow and a cool microclimate. The apartment itself was spotlessly clean and also stayed cool because of thick ancient walls. This also added to the special atmosphere of the apartment. Just around the corner is a good Restaurant, well it’s more than that. You also can have a coffee/drink there and shop some basic groceries. Pietraviva and the region is highly recommended in general since it’s not overcrowded - people are very welcoming towards tourists. Just be aware of mosquitoes! Prepare accordingly, it can get quite annoying!

I had an amazing experience at Castel Monastero. The staff were extremely friendly - as soon as I told them it was my birthday they showered me with surprises including birthday cake and birthday balloons with a bottle of wine in my room! The hotel was extremely clean, breakfast was great. Couldn’t choose a better location for my birthday getaway!

A quiet and peaceful location in the heart of Tuscany. Nothing was too much trouble for excellent hosts Marco and Maria who along with their staff, Martha and husband Marco, made our stay a most happy and welcoming one and provided beautifully prepared Tuscan cuisine - all in all a great base for exploring the Tuscan countryside.

The staff were so accommodating. We had a flight delay and rushed to the property so we could eat on there terrace. The servers were also kind, professional and very accommodating. Engaged in small talk. You had the sense they enjoyed their jobs. The room was spacious and very quiet, with a beautiful overlooking vineyards. We hiked around the area and then took a refreshing dip in the pool. It was the perfect weekend getaway. Parking area was spacious and easy to get to the room from.

Badia Agnano is a charming village well worth a stop on your tour of Tuscany. However, our short stay at Il Bosso di Toscana left us with the strongest memory. The building is part of a former monastery complex and still preserves the charming atmosphere of the Middle Ages. If you also visit the church, which is part of this complex, your visit will leave an indelible memory with you. The hosts are amazing - they are not only kind and hospitable, but have exceptional taste and sense for creating a warm and sophisticated home environment where guests feel welcome and special. The lovely living room, where we enjoyed a fine breakfast and attention from the hosts, has the look of a museum collection that continues into the bedroom. The artistry and sense of the characteristic details leaves an exeptional memory, especially if you are an art connoisseur. My wife and I are architects and for us staying at Il Bosso di Toscana and interacting with the hosts was an unforgettable pleasure. The Pink House is a spacious semi-detached house in a small street of the little town of Pietraviva. It has a nice view from the balconies, enough space for our group of 5 and you can drive to many sights in the area. You can park in front of the house. The next supermarket is 20 min. away, but they have a small shop in the only restaurant in town. We stayed 5 days to attend an American wedding in the Villa Cini and went on some sightseeing in Arrezzo, Siena and Florence.

Lovely hotel. Our room was large. We enjoyed the included breakfast and the pool was beautiful. The location made it easy to get to all the places we wanted to see. The staff was kind and we had a great time overall. We enjoyed walking around the grounds and seeing the horses.

Lovely, quiet and rustic place with typical Tuscany charme as part of a huge Polo sports club. Kids loved the jacuzzi in our garden and the big pool down at the hotel. Saimira, the manager, was super supportive and open-hearted. We miss this place already.
