Location.view. no automobile traffic. Family run. Quiet. Ferry boat connection in front. Muy simpatico. Stayed there in 2006, 2007, 2009. It is still the best hotel we ever stayed in. Superb.

This is a friendly family-run hotel in a quiet street in Cannobio. The man who runs it couldnt speak much English but nonetheless he made us feel very welcome. The breakfast was good , our room was quiet at night and the location was excellent as it was only a few minutes walk to the main part of town and to the lake. They also serve lovely evening meals.

The location is stuning, you can relax in every corner of this awesome place, be it in the restaurant, private beach, jacuzzi, sauna, or the excelent private event terrace and hall with a awesome view of Lake Magiore, the staff is absolutely great and attentive, very in tune with your needs, making things really easy and make you feel like home. The small details make a difference, from all the branded items, to the room cleaning service. Room service not only changed our towels in the morning, but refilled the Nespresso caps for the coffee machine you have in the room, changed the used coffee cups, cleaned the room, even whiped the shower cabin clean, absolutely great service, excelent job there. The restaurant was a great experience, the food was really delicious and the staff was very aware of your needs. The breakfast was great, a lot to choose from. We booked just for one night, but everything there made us book the next night as well. We where amazed that this location didn’t get a 5 star rating, since the way they present things is way above a 4 star hotel. Nothing much not to like here really.

We didn’t spend much time in the area as we mainly needed a place to sleep near the Lungolago at a reasonable price, preferably with free parking. The hotel turned out to be a wonderful surprise: very nice, tasteful, and the location couldn’t be better. The staff was excellent and everyone spoke German and English very well. Breakfast was perfect. The room felt a bit outdated to me, but not old – more a matter of taste than condition. Our only mistake was leaving the window open overnight, as the bells woke us up early in the morning. Housekeeping also deserves five stars – spotless! We didn’t get a chance to try the restaurant this time, but will do so next time. If we come back to this area, we will definitely book here again. Thank you!

Pino is a small, charming village nestled on a hillside.

Pino is a small, charming village nestled on a hillside. You should be reasonably fit to walk around, but if so, the place is highly recommended. There's a small pebbly beach with a grassy area for sunbathing. Water shoes are highly recommended. For electric car drivers: there's a charging station in the village, but unfortunately it was out of order.

A small, secluded village with slightly winding lanes above the lake shore; a small grocery store offers bread and rolls from Monday to Saturday, as well as everything for daily needs (open only until noon); the church also plays a short carillon in the morning and evening; transport connections by train and bus are very good.
