The property was very clean. It was in a great location for us (between Pisticci and Marconia). It was very spacious giving the 6 of us plenty of space. The host provided us with all the kitchen items we required. He also provided us with beach umbrellas which we really appreciated. Gianni was a wonderful host. He answered all our concerns in a timely fashion. He was kind and cooperative. I would definitely book with Gianni again.

The host, mikela, made us feel at home. She took our stay to the next level. Although the pool should have been not in use, she went out of her way to make it available for us. Also we were provided a good breakfast even if it was not included. It was perfect.

A very pretty village.

A very pretty village. It's best to leave your car at the entrance and explore it on foot. The area is rather lacking in restaurants and places to shop. However: Kudos to the La Quercia pizzeria and the helpfulness of the Q8 service station.

A small, human-scale nativity scene. A peaceful place where the pace is slow and mindful. I recommend making a reservation at "L'Incontro" because we would have loved to have dinner there, but it was fully booked.

Pisticci is a charming village, with welcoming and helpful people, and a sense of history. As Neapolitans, we tried the pizza in Pisticci and were surprised how much we loved it! Plus, it's incredibly affordable.

We saw Bernalda at night with its majestic medieval castle.

We saw Bernalda at night with its majestic medieval castle. The public beach in Metaponto was stunning, and the sea was crystal clear. It's worth traveling so many miles to get to the beach if the sea is this beautiful and clean. A visit to Matera is especially worthwhile at night.

We had a great time, Alberto gave us a warm welcome. The view from the balcony/terrace was wonderful, you could see the whole valley. The bnb was very nice, except the bed was too small for two and there were very few pots and pans.
