The place is a family run hotel and they are superb! Loved the place itself and the rooms were comfy, at first we wished we had a window to the gorgeous view they had but didn’t feel bad about it because they had a beautiful space to spend time and relax.

The room was very cute and clean. The bed was so comfortable and the bathroom was really nice and stylish, I loved the shower which was huge! the receptionist told us we could have everything that was in the minibar for free, I appreciated it a lot and I found it to be a really kind thought. There was also a quite big TV, but we didn't have the chance to try that one.

This is a delightful hotel with the most amazing and helpful staff. The whole building has been tastefully renovated and rooms are lovely. The property is just off a main route out of Florence, which makes it easy to get to Florence, Pisa, Chianti region and the rest of Tuscany - as long as you have transport. Breakfasts were very good with inside and outside seating. Nice pool with plenty of sunbeds and gazebos. They have a little spa facility and they bring in an outstanding masseuse if you book. I like a good massage and we live in Thailand, yet this is one of the best massages we have ever experienced - I had hot stone and my wife had office syndrome and acupressure. You are a 10-20 minute journey from the main trainline (depending on the station you want to go from) and this runs Florence-Pisa and beyond (train system is excellent too). Incredible restaurant just across the road, so don't be put off by not having a restaurant on-site. There is a bar service in the hotel so you can have drinks - alcoholic, non-alcoholic, coffee, etc. I think that is a 24 hour service?

Supermarket nearby. Again, plan accordingly: the hotel is 15 minutes away from Florence by car. Expect up to one hour to commute to Florence if you use public transportation.

The venue was brilliantly located in scenic locations, the staff were very helpful and the restaurant was also good. But the rooms were basic standard with not even a kettle for a coffee in the morning.

Room was clean and comfortable.

Room was clean and comfortable. Shower and bathroom was ok too. My biggest gripe was the owner or whoever we were speaking to for the reservation. We had said that we were coming earlier because we had a very early morning flight to get there and we would appreciate if we could check in earlier. They said no very abruptly and even in later messages just fobbed us off. Because of that we spent longer to get to the hotel so we would not just be waiting there. Then when we got there the owner said "Oh I thought you said you were coming earlier!". When we got there the hotel was SO quiet it seemed as if no one was staying there at all! Also the swimming pool looks lovely in the photos but when we arrived there it was a swamp green colour and not very nice at all! We were also very hungry and when we asked if there was something we could eat we were just told that the restaurant is closed and to wait until 7pm or go to a supermarket. In the morning when we checked out I went to give my key and the owner was just very direct and not very friendly. The hotel is ok but really the owner has let it down. Shame really.

We had a great time; the owners are very friendly.

We had a great time; the owners are very friendly. Jonathan speaks excellent French, and the owner has some basic French. The setting is beautiful, the pool is clean, and the room is rustic with antique furniture.
