The receptionists were just wonderful, arranged for a driver to pick me up from the station and take me back the next day (I had to pay as I'd expected), they let me check in early and stay till the driver collected me, the breakfast was great, the room was spacious and comfortable, hot shower, beautiful view.

The historic house has been completely renovated with great sensitivity for such a special place. The surrounding area offers many opportunities for hikes through the beautiful countryside.
