Coming from a tourist country and working in travel and tourism myself, I know the most important thing is respecting your guest. People in Tourist hotel Potenza do their job perfectly and treat their guests with utmost respect. Hotel is run "old school way" in the best meaning of the words, combined with all modern amenities. Location is ideal, in the historical center of the city, close to all sightseeing, shopping and dining. I think I never slept in such white and clean bed linen. I was staying on Sunday, and asked for a favour I needed on a working day, and it was done for me. On top of everything, price was very affordable and really great value for the money. At the end, I can only say big thanks and highly recommend Tourist hotel Potenza to everyone.

The facility is an ideal place with everything perfectly thought out. Everything was brand new, including the parking lot. The facility staff took care of everything from entrance to exit. I wish I had more time and stayed in this peaceful place. I stayed in various houses in Italy for 10 days, but if one day booking com sets an ideal accommodation standard, this will be the place it will give as an example. I definitely recommend it.

The lady keeping the B&B is excellent! It is very difficult to find a decent place to stay when in Potenza. I travel there very often and this is a spot I found that I will keep for all my future visits. The landlady is very friendly and extremely helpful. The place is in very good location. Even with a parking for a car. The breakfast was so well taken care of that I did not expect at a B&B, much better that in a any hotel in the area,

I liked the old city center area, all the restaurants and shops just a short walk on mostly level ground. It seemed very safe! I would have liked to see the museum but it was a little too far and down a steep hill for a troublesome knee. A little knowledge of Italian and a translation app was helpful. The people would work with you and overall we’re very kind.

An interesting city for a short visit.

An interesting city for a short visit. A nice Archeological museum (general tours are in Italian exclusively). The city is rich in its theatre but unfortunately, we came out of a season. The historic city centre is situated on the top of a high natural hill; verticals in the city are striking. Therefore, free public elevators are quite ordinary means of transportation.

Don't expect much; the historic center isn't particularly old, but it's almost entirely pedestrianized, perfect for a stroll. Excellent services are available at the Torre Guevara, where you can enjoy an immersive experience with headsets and virtual reality.

Potenza is very pretty and quaint, with excellent food and very friendly and welcoming people. Just a few kilometers away are natural areas of extreme beauty, such as the Lucanian Dolomites, Lake Pignola, and Montecelio. It's worth visiting these places and stopping to watch the sunset, which is spectacular.

A city with a cool climate, an excellent summer destination. Beautiful parks, an interesting historic center, well-served by Flixbus, beautiful surroundings (mountains, forests, castles, ancient villages), and some interesting futuristic architecture, such as the bridge over the Basento River and the longest escalator in Europe.

A sad city, with lots of closed shops; the only ones open, and in large numbers, are jewelry stores. It really makes you think. The only bright spot is the little restaurant Cantina Ancidda, where we had a lovely dinner two out of three nights. Excellent value for money, and traditional dishes prepared with creativity.
