Tre Borghi looks like paradise and it was paradise. The accomodation was bellisimo and the view over the bay of Poligastro was magnificent. The host was super friendly. His hospitality was warming. Every day he came to ask if we were allright and if we needed anything. His suggestions to do and see things in the environment were welcome and also were the links on his website. We had a wonderfull time on Tre Borghi. Grazie mille Domenico and Francesca Special greetings from Suze our dog for the attention she recieved although she was not always in a good mood. With love Antonio and Anna

We stayed at Hotel Cavaliere in Scario, in the province of Salerno, located in the beautiful Gulf of Policastro, right in the heart of the Cilento National Park. A truly enchanting location, surrounded by nature and just a short walk from the sea. The hotel offers a private beach only 150 meters away, easily reachable on foot. The rooms are comfortable, harmonious, and impeccably clean, with great attention to detail. The buffet breakfast is well-prepared and generous — you’re spoiled for choice. We had both lunch and dinner at the hotel’s restaurant, where we enjoyed local dishes, featuring fresh seafood and seasonal vegetables, all deliciously prepared. On Wednesday evening, we had a very special experience: while dining, we enjoyed live traditional Cilento music, performed with handcrafted local instruments. It was a beautiful and authentic moment! Just a short walk from the hotel, the tourist marina offers several private operators who organize both individual and group boat excursions, perfect for exploring the coastline and discovering the natural wonders of Cilento from the sea. We highly recommend Hotel Cavaliere to anyone looking for relaxation, nature, great food, and local traditions.

Dominico and Francesca were perfect hosts and helpful in pointing out local points of interest. The apartment was very comfortable with a wonderful view over the water and distant coastline to the east and across to San Giovanni a Piro to the south. The fully equipped kitchen made home cooking a breeze and the photographs on the walls of local places (taken by our host) created a relaxing ambience. The sister towns of Bosco and Scario are well worth a visit also.

It’s a small boutique hotel located on a hillside above the Scario marina. It’s brand new. The rooms are elegant with all amenities you might expect and require. Excellent walk in shower with complimentary cosmetics. Amazing views over the bay of Sapri! Recommend booking sea view room, but if you strike out there is always a rooftop terrace with seating are and a swing seat!
