The friendliness of the "Buonasera" from Massimo when we arrived, made us feel "at home" straight away. The Casa was easy to find. clean, welcoming and beyond our expectations. Massimo made us fresh coffee upon arrival and told us about the history of the house and the surrounding area. where the best Valpolicella was made and he confirmed that the restaurant we had booked for that evening was one of the best in the area (and it was fantastic). In the morning we were greeted by Massimo and his wife Laura - the breakfast table was laid out with home made Bread, Jams, Cakes, Focaccia and Tiramisu. Laura was happy to let us have the recipes which we have already tried out. A wonderful stay with such wonderful hosts. As we all said when we left "Arrivederci" and yes we will return. We absolutely loved our stay! The rooms were spacious with outstanding design and high-quality materials – luxurious in every detail and smartly laid out, with excellent air conditioning. Parking was conveniently located just below the hotel. But what truly made the experience exceptional was the staff. Their speed, attention to detail, and warm hospitality made us feel like part of the family. The breakfast service, especially the table service, was impeccable. The hotel is perfectly located right in the heart of Castelrotto, just 100 meters from a top-notch restaurant offering exquisite food, fantastic wines, and creative cocktails. We’ll definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay at Domus Cariana! The place was spotless and beautifully kept, with lovely seating areas around the hotel. We were lucky to experience stunning sunrises and sunsets, which made our stay truly magical. Giovanni was the perfect host – always helpful and kind, assisting us with bookings for wine tours and restaurants. For us cycling around the wine region, Domus Cariana was the ideal base. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We loved the concept with the honesty bar with their excellent wines and soft drinks as well as free water dispenser and coffee. No 24h reception but everything is take care of. It gives you the feeling of staying at friends or family. Everything is nicely decorated on the style of a traditional countryside house. The views when you open the windows are stunning and the restaurant was excellent too!

It was so nice apartment, in a new building, also so clean, so nice place to stay with my family, close to the center of verona. Easy to park the car. I will reapeat as soon as I can, great experience. Recomendable.

If you're staying here to commute into Verona, don't.

If you're staying here to commute into Verona, don't. The bus systems aren't very reliable and you can't stay too long in the city or else you miss the last bus that leaves early in the night. I had multiple experiences standing and waiting at bus stops in 95-degree heat for busses that were running late and it was miserable. San Pietro in Cariano is a beautiful little town but there isn't much there and not many people speak a language outside of Italian as it is not a tourist spot and such a small town. There are a few restaurants in town, but the language barrier is difficult and often I would just prefer to wait and eat down in Verona as it was easier. The commute by bus into town is about 30-40 minutes and there is no working AC on the bus so you are either standing or sitting in your own sweat for that entire time. I would have rather spent the money and stayed in the city, but the place I stayed in San Pietro in Cariano was lovely and I have no complaints about that, I just chose the wrong location.

The hotel is beautiful and rustic with a fabulous view of the vineyards. We had an amazing tour of the winery with Fabio. What a great guy, so passionate about his job. We had an amazing dinner overlooking the vineyard, a truly special experience with great service, great food, wine, particularly the Amarone classico 2019. Great breakfast arrangement with wonderful ladies serving us.

Wasn't expecting much, just a one night stay between other locations however the man on reception was so friendly and helpful, he made all the difference. Tired and dated hotel OK for a quick stopover, but wouldn't want to stay more than a couple of days.

The Hotel is amazing with a great location if you wanna explore Verona. Even tho the Hotel is tailored more for adults, the personnel was amazing with our little one year old and in general it was a great service.
