The studio/house was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable – a perfect home away from home. Breakfast was tasty and satisfying, with enough variety to start the day right. Parking right in front of the property was very convenient, and the swimming pool was a real highlight – clean, well-kept, and perfect for relaxing after a day out. Overall, a lovely place to stay and one I’d happily return to.

It is by far the most beautiful apartment I ever had at Booking.com! Even though it's incredibly cheap for an apartment of this size. Don't choose it if you want a super modern kitchen or bathroom, but enjoy the spacious apartment, the incredible view from 2 balconies, the wonderful furniture, and the contact with an extremely friendly host.

Small hilltop residential hamlet with a tower.

Small hilltop residential hamlet with a tower. Very quiet neighborhood. No restaurants or services in town but the towns and supermarkets are about 15 minutes away. Great location to explore the lakeside towns and access to the bike trail around the lake. Most hilltop towns like Deruta and Cortona are 1/2 to 45 minutes away. It is nice to explore the busy tourist towns and come back to quiet accommodations.

It's a small village overlooking Lake Trasimeno with...

It's a small village overlooking Lake Trasimeno with spectacular views. To do your shopping, you can walk down to San Feliciano, where there's a small supermarket. Larger supermarkets are just a few minutes' drive away, but not within walking distance. Gubbio, Perugia, Assisi, and Orvieto are just a few cities worth visiting, as are the lakeside villages.

From San Savino, it's easy to reach the most beautiful villages in Umbria, such as Panicola, Città della Pieve, Magione, and all the villages overlooking Lake Trasimeno, in just over a quarter of an hour. Eating is easy; you're in Umbria, Italy.

Beautiful, very small village.

Beautiful, very small village. There are no amenities like bars or supermarkets, but you can enjoy the beauty of the landscape, stunning sunsets over the lake, and a sense of tranquility. It's close to slightly larger, more well-stocked villages that can be easily reached by car.

The lake wasn't great in late summer due to algae; we didn't swim. Otherwise, it's a quiet area, though restaurants are somewhat sparsely scattered. Day trips to Perugia, Castiglione del Lago, and Arezzo are recommended. Wine tasting at Berioli is also a must! Vespa, quad, and bicycle rentals are available nearby.
